I d take Brown over Schiltz anyday. The guys been around for what 4-5 years and done nothing. Brown has way more upside and shown this year he can overcome a 22 point deficit when everyone had written his team off. It's a shame we didn't use him more, he deserves a shot when you look around the league and look at all the other schmucks that have been given the opportunity.

Schiltz has been injured most of the season, he did beat both the Stamps and the Riders handily upon his return and looked pretty good doing so.  I honestly wouldn't rate Brown above him yet.

likely dru would be similar to nick Arbuckle as well
Nick Arbuckle, Ottawa Redblacks (A)

Hard money: $130,000
Maximum value: $229,000

bombers might be able to afford Brown in that the only way he'd likely make the maximum is if Collaris got hurt for a number of games.

And that's a reason he could move on. Even if he's signing on as another teams back-up, he's gonna have way more opportunity to get into games and supplant the starter than he has here.
My wife is amazing!

Lightning in a bottle is a BIG stretch. He ended up going 2-5 down the stretch and 0-4 in their final 4 games. He's a great athlete but he's not a very good quarterback. He can't play from the pocket and I doubt he's their long term solution.
Ford is the equivalent of Streveler---a running Qb who is exciting to watch, but at the end of the day, can't get the job done as he isn't a good Qb-he's a great athlete that can elude tacklers, but not a good Qb who can pick apart defenses with his passing game. His passing game is below average, and that was Strevelers drawback. I'd keep him for a 2nd down Qb and run some tempo packages, but Edmonton has to look at a long term solution

And Ottawa doesn't need Streveler going there to be their #1 Qb. He's not a #1 Qb, and outside a small group of fans in winnipeg, nobody thinks he is

I think Ford has more upside.  He has a great quick wind up and release.  His reads aren't the best, yet, but he seems like an intelligent guy, so he could get better.  He is still very raw/green, being thrust into starting.

Strevie: the question isn't is he a #1, the question is can he win you more games than Crum.  My answer would be: yes.  He'll win you just over .500 until he gets injured...  8)
Never go full Rider!

And the way he plays it?s a certainty he ll get injured. They got to get a legit Qb, and that?s Brown. He should be playing in this league. Crum, Schultz, Caleb Evans, dolengla, couldn?t carry browns cleats to the field yet they start games, gimme a break!!
