We don't have a very large number of players on our IR compared to most teams.

You should see TOR's IR!  It's a major joke how obvious they "cheat" using the IR.  MOS said in a presser WFC mostly doesn't do that, but other teams do.  Does the league not require at least a hint of legitimacy for IR?  Does TOR at least make up a "turf toe" excuse for all these guys?

I guess if all it costs them is SMS$ then I guess they'll do it.  However, the SMS adding up might put them over the limit or leave no extra $$ at the end of season to pre-pay players for next year.

Still, it's a bad look for the league.  Why not just create an actual "parked player" roster where they receive full pay, can't be sniped, etc, like the 1G-IR, and normal SMS treatment.  At least then teams wouldn't have to mark 15 guys as having turf toe.

We've done it in the past activating PR players for a game that didn't impact the final standings. We'll probably do it next week for our last regular season game.

Argos locked up 1st place with 6 games to go so that put them in an unusual situation. Just looked at their 1 game IR and they put 6 players on the 1 game IR for this week. My guess is that it adds another $3K per player over a PR SMS hit. If they do that for 4 games that will add quite a bit to their 2023 SMS.

I don't see any issues with their 6 game IR. Those seem to be legit long term injuries.

Fortunate for them is that they aren't paying Kelly starting QB money this season so they have some room in theory.

The only way I get the bombers vs bc a couple of weeks ago in minny was Tsn app using a vpn on my phone

I don't think the game is on CBS, only TSN+, if you are subscribed to TSN you should be able to watch on a laptop.

Listened to the panel raving about Demski and Oliveira coming from the same high school, Oak Park in Winnipeg, and complimenting the high school coach. How did they forget about Andrew Harris who also played for Oak Park??? All three played at different times, but all played for the same coach - Stu Nixon.
