Breaking news: he's officially the backup's backup QB for one game.

How much is his salary worth for the game even if it is at NFL minimum? Sounds like a nice payday jump.

He'll likely get paid a little over $44,000 USD for holding the clipboard on Sunday.

Does NFL have sneak packages like we do?  Might he see that role?  Or does he literally have to wait for 2 people to blow ACLs?  Still, kind of cool.  Who's the last Canadian QB to dress for an NFL game?

Starting QBs run the sneaks in the NFL; they don't sub out for the package.

and likely gets paid more in 1 game than the rest of us do in a year!!! Good on him!!!

Pete

Bethard may start, but if he doesn't perform Roarke may get some playing time. All he needs is 1 quarter to show what he can do , then who knows what happens.

Brett Rypien currently of the LA Rams.  Dressed and played last year in Denver. Dad is Canadian (from Alberta?) and uncle is the great Canadian NFL QB Mark Rypien. That said he played in US system.  So it sorprenda how you define Canadian.

Not bad. I hope he gets to stick around on their AR for a few games. Sorry to hear Lawrence got hurt but injuries are the nature of the game.

He's from Washington, so I wouldn't count him as Canadian at all...
