Does this count: from the CFL page:  Notes: WPG DL Thiadric Hansen will be returning to practice from the 6-Game Injured list. He will be accounted for on either the Active or 1-Game Injured List as of Thursday, September 28, 2023.

CJOB also just announced it.

Hansen has been practicing for a few weeks now. Missed a couple days last week. Back at practice today.

Horseman

Jamal Davis has just been released by the Als, should we have any interest in picking him up?

DE 6'-4" 250 lbs. Import and what do you know we have stats!  14 games played 22 DT 3 sacks.  Not bad, although I have no recollection of his play.

Sir Blue and Gold

Guys that ask for their release because they aren't playing enough don't scream Mike O'Shea players. How much would he play here? Rotationally around Jeffcoat and Jefferson? Basically as much as he was playing in Montreal? Don't think so.

Pigskin

He would be CFL ready. Nice insurance policy going into the last 4 games of the regular season and playoffs. Could have used him in the 4th quarter of the GC last year.

Ya, DE Davis hasn't stood out at all.  You can bet if he did, and The Mafia had him on their "cuts to grab" list, he'd be in WPG pronto.

Desmond Lawrence #22

Funny, because Darby used to be #22 for us.  Gets confusing.  Can Lawrence play SAM?  Might this be an option we are considering?  If Darby can't get the job done he needs to IR or PR or get an apple.
Never go full Rider!

at the beginning of the year darby changed to #2 and lawrence took 22.  I'd like to see lawrence at sam, he seems to have the tools to play that postition

Isn't Lawrence one of the slowest of the DBs?  Is it better to have bigger at SAM, or faster?  Might not Holm make a superb SAM?  Seems to have a nice balance of traits.  But ya, let's try #22 at SAM, what do we have to lose, eh?

If you put DL22 at SAM, what do you do with Kramdi?  How do you start 8 Nats to circumvent the fake nat issue? Kramdi is doing just fine at SAM, IMHO
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.
