Any one of Parker, Lawrence or Darby could be traded and it wouldn't hurt much.

If it wasn't for Parker getting injured before the season started and Evan Holm killing it out there, Parker would be starting in his place. I really want to keep his as depth and as an up and comer.

Wonder if Hammy would do Kongbo for Bennett straight up. Sure we would lose a recent draft pick, but we would be trading a prospect in the same position for an upgrade today. Kongbo would be a great long term re-sign too, especially with Jeffcoat getting insured so often.

Ticats are not trading Kongbo to a rival.  Pretty sure they still want to win the GC at home.  Unless we are giving up a starting NAT Olineman, or some other impact player, we're not getting any player of value.

Disagree, that's key depth.

If Kongbo isn't starting, there is a reason... and also a reason BC traded him after they cut Lemon to make room..   My Spidey senses say that something isn't right with this.

Loved Kongbo during his time here, and if that's the same Kongbo we get back, for a draft pick, make the deal.  But something isn't adding up.  And I can't see HAM trading a viable asset unless they get back something of need today while they are trying to get into the playoff and win the GC at home.

No there not, but they mite trade Mason Bennett. Mason is is from Winnipeg and will probably sign with Winnipeg in the off season as a FA. Mason had a very good year last season, but was injured this season. The Cats mite want to get rid of him before he walks in FA.

Not critical, probably going to part ways with 2 of the 3 in the off-season anyhow, they still have ADS and Karamoko as young DB prospects.

Every team is a rival but they are in different conferences.

I see they just sent Adeleke and Leonard to 6 game IR. I see another 4 or 5 TD game for Collaros tomorrow.

I'd trade some combo of Bennett, a mid round pick and one of Parker, Darby, Lawrence or ADS for Mason Bennett or Kongbo.

We would have done that had Buck not been asleep all week and weekend.

This week was the opposite of last week in the " which came 1st " question. The Bombers defence didn't get the opponent off the field quickly or often. Bombers offence moved the ball and scored but had it less often and for shorter times.

We lost TOP and field position which I'd put mostly on the defence. Our offence had less opportunities to be on the field.

They started the game with great field position and scored which started the momentum. I will keep saying it add nauseum, if our special teams play was better and they had to start inside their 30, this entire game could have been different. Last week we dominated but our first kickoff gave them early points last week also....

Its a pattern and it's all aspects of it, our special teams are not good enough for us to win. When we win it is us playing so good we overcome the starting field position deficit and without a return game, that is not sustainable.

Before we get too down on ourselves sometimes you just have to give the other team credit for playing a great game, which they did. Their D made stops and on O they caught everything thrown at them and their QB got the ball out very quickly. I give Hammy full marks for the win. We had a "tiger" by the tail all game. Hamilton is probably peaking right now as they've managed to beat some very good football teams of late. Kudos to them.

If you look at our losses and the subsequent rematches, we have done very well. After losing to Ottawa, BC, and Sask, we came back in the rematch to destroy those teams. THAT is a pattern and that is why this team is feared and respected across the league. No one has been able to beat us twice in a row. We make adjustments and kick ***. I'd expect to beat Hamilton in a rematch. We are not inferior to them.

Not making excuses but we're a little nicked up right now and we just came off a game where we completely drubbed our opponent. I wasn't surprised that we failed to match Hamilton's intensity. Football players are only human, including ours. Let's cut this team some slack and realize that the sky isn't falling. We have plenty of time to make adjustments and get on a roll heading into the playoffs. I remain optimistic.
Go Bombers!
