CFL.ca broken - whither depth charts?

The CFL.ca site player area and game info areas seem to still be broken, and now they have a note saying they are working on it, making "new" stuff (I guess with Genius).

Where is the easiest / best place to find depth charts?  So far the only place I'm having any luck is on each team's site (sometimes with the help of google).  But where it is on each site is different.

I can't find the MTL chart anywhere.  Their googled chart page comes up 404.  Does anyone have the MTL chart for Sat night?  Thanks!

Ya, I've gotten those from the GDT.  Wondering more about the other games.  The only (released) one I haven't found yet is the MTL chart for the OTT/MTL game.  Anyone found that yet?

Used to be so handy to just go to cfl.ca/schedule and click the game's gametracker at the top.

I've always just gone directly to the team websites.

Here's the Ottawa page: https://www.ottawaredblacks.com/depth-charts/

Sorry, I got it backwards (thought you needed Ottawa). I got the same error, both in French and English (depth chart pages in both languages seem to be missing).

TecnoGenius

Ya, technically I don't think that's "legal" per CFL rules.  Charts must be provided to the league and opponent 24 hours ahead.  Pretty sure it has to be made public.

I can understand the CFL having the player stats system down, but having the entire game tracker / notes down?  Lame.  CFL had the whole off-season to get their web stuff written, and they're just working on it now in week 1?  Just turn the old system back on until the new one is ready!  Web dev 101.

Must have spent the whole web site budget on coming up with the new fantasy football color scheme...

Anyone else found the MTL chart yet?  Fantasy players want to know!  ;)

MTL fixed their site.  The depth chart page now has it:

I guess until cfl.ca is fixed we'll have to go to the individual team sites for charts.

Bloody hell! I'm furious. Not having the Alouettes depth chart yesterday impacted which players I ended up having to select in yesterday's game between the Bombers and the Tiger-Cats as well.

>:(

I'm wondering whether this was another side effect of having hired "Genius" Sports to make changes?

???

To be fair, in the past we often had weeks where the games are spread out and you must pick your day 1 (2...) fantasy picks before knowing the game 3 (or 4) depth charts.  It's frustrating, but part of the challenge.

The MTL chart not being out until the day-of did make things a lot harder, though.

Yes, I would think this is entirely due to switching to some Genius system.  Why they didn't finish in the off-season is beyond me.  Lame.

Just so everyone is clear, this TecnoGenius has no affiliation with Genius Sports!  Blame them, not me  :D :D ;D ;D

I know, eh!  Trying to dodge a bullet here.  But hey, I wouldn't mind having a 10% cut of the CFL  :D :D  Heck, I could probably do a better job developing the technology too  :P 8) 8) 8) :o

If you want to see the stats, you have to turn off your ad blocker because CFL.CA uses: ssl.connextra.com (TSN.CA/CFL stats work without turning off ad blockers)

Hmm TB, that is a thought.  But I just turned off my js blocker and my ABP and the Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection, and still the cfl.ca player site shows zero stats.

So you're saying if you go here:
https://www.cfl.ca/players/zach-collaros/155276/

That you see years and stats listed?  I get just a framework page with no years/stats listed, just like if it was a rookie player who doesn't have any GP yet.

If you're seeing something, then it could be the page is incompatible with FF.  That wouldn't be a first.  Most people code for Chrome.  Let me know so I can investigate further and put in a FF bug report.

And thanks for the TSN link, I didn't know that existed.  That makes a great backup site!!!  Super handy

Thanks for that info.  Pisses me off if you want to review stats. from past seasons you have to wander through a giant all-inclusive PDF file to find them.
