I hope this is not going to be a repeat of 2022 for JJ94. 64 games in 5 years is not a good deal for the Bombers. We need him healthy and on the field. Maybe we do need to get Mr. Lemon into Winnipeg ASAP.

Miller never seems to practice but plays every week.  I can't see reducing depth at DE taking Haba out for a FB / ST player. Even replacing Cole with him doesn't really work. That said they might do that anyway? It's more probable than taking out Haba.

Home Opener to Feature Halftime Performance by Darcy Oake

WINNIPEG, MB., June 6, 2023 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will kick off the 2023 season at home June 9th when the team plays host to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at IG Field.

Fans are encouraged to stay in their seats for a special halftime performance by illusionist Darcy Oake Friday night. The gates will open 60 minutes before kickoff, with pre-game specials including $5.00 355ml cans of Molson Coors and Molson Coors Light, $3.50 fountain drinks and hot dogs. The Princess Auto Pre-game tailgate area opens at 5:30pm.

Also new for the 2023 season are jumbo food items. The feature for this week's game is a 32-inch hot dog with perogies, bacon bits, green onions and sour cream, available at section 125 for $45. In line with the jumbo theme, giant Noggin Boss hats are also newly available in the Bomber Store. Season ticket members received a 15% discount on merchandise in the Bomber Store and 10% off concession food items with their new season ticket member discount card.

"IG Field is home to the CFL's loudest fans, and the fun in the stadium, the atmosphere... it's all created by our fans," said Winnipeg Blue Bombers President & CEO, Wade Miller. "We can't wait to start a new season and to keep raising the bar in terms of the game day experience for our fans, both on and off the field."

Fans should also be on the lookout for new activations around the concourse this season, including life-size bobbleheads of mascots and players as well as an augmented reality photo booth allowing fans to take photos with players on the concourse - all virtually. 2023 Blue Bombers schedule magnets will also be handed out to fans as they head to their seats Friday night, courtesy of BellMTS, as well as giveaways at the 100 and 200 levels of the stadium all season long.

The Blue Bombers have also launched a new refreshed app for the 2023 season, available on all iOS and Android devices. In addition to being able to purchase and manage tickets directly through the app, all key team news, game day information and activations are available on mobile devices with this new one-stop shop for the game day fan experience.

We did the tailgate for the first time in forever last game and couldn't find anywhere to get the $3.50 fountain drinks.  Where are they located?  Lots of beer stands, but no sign of pop.  Didn't want to stand in a long line at a beer-looking place just to be told no pop.

We bought food 3 times in the PS2 game and not a single kiosk person asked to scan our ST card for the 10% discount, even though it was hanging around our necks in plain view.

After we bought the first round of food we realized this and tried hard to remember for the 2nd/3rd round (which we did).  So just a note to everyone, you need to remember to present the card to get the discount!  Once we pointed it out the process was quite efficient and they knew what to do with the little scanner thingy.

If they were going after Lemon seriously they would have got him by now, pretty obvious they have decided not to pursue that avenue.  I guess the same goes for McCallister.
