O'Shea said no news this past Monday on the coaches show.  McRae working with first team has me wondering if they want more speed than Agudosi is giving them but also if Lawler might be gone for longer than they first thought.

I find it difficult to think they don't have news even if it's not good news. McCrae may have past Agudosi on the depth chart or he might be nicked. I guess we'll see who makes the game day roster tomorrow.

It might also be because Oliveria is not 100% healthy and it gives us a back up that isn't a DI.

This Lawler thing is really dragging out. Must be bad news or really no news because the Federal government is stupid.

this Lawler saga sure is something all right. Sign a player to a big money deal, do absolutely nothing else to improve the team (on either sides of the ball) and then have him disappear due to visa issues that were either ignored or not known for an innumerable amount of weeks.

No news is bad news.

Literally just have to wait for documentation to go through. I don't think there's any risk in him being denied, but he's just one page in a pile of documentation.

What a ****ing ***show, though.

Pretty sure Agudosi is ok. He practiced with the rest and looked fine. My theory is that Agudosi was a stop gap for 3 games, see what he could do, but they can't wait for Lawler anymore. Probably wanting McRae's speed to run the plays that they surely have in the playbook for Lawler. If they knew Lawler was back next week, why not just play Agudosi one more time?

I take anything I hear on the coaches show with a grain of salt. A caller asked why didn't Pigrome get reps vs BC? Answer: valuable reps for our #2. Question: Prukop is available, any interest? Answer: we'll see where he ends up.
Woke up next day to find Prukop signed and Pigrome cut.

Schoen they have listed as questionable but he looked too good Wedn to not be playing.

According to Taylor Allen in the Free Press today,
"Receiver Carlton Agudosi led the team with 61 receiving yards on five catches against the Lions but has been working with the No. 2s all week. Signs point to him being scratched in favour of Greg McCrae."

He's had a couple of drops, and even in practice he seems to drop balls. I was sort of wondering if the Bombers might consider a change.

O'Shea wastes everyone's time listening to that show, including the callers and host Derek Taylor.  He seems to think providing non-answers and little information is a huge joke, he misses the point that a microphone in his face is a promotional opportunity and not a nuisance.

Yeah sort of have to agree - I was not an O'Shea fan from the beginning but slowly making my way into his side over the years. Very few (if any) coaches have been taught how to promote their team on these talk shows. Most of them would rather not be there and if there only say as little as they can get away with. I am hard pressed to name one coach that really comes across well on these types of shows.

For most head coaches that's not their (marketing, promote their team) forte though.
If they want to make the show to promote the team, feature 2-3 Bomber players every week instead... or different coaches, even the GMs / scouts

I agree that would be worth listening to.

I hope Kenny has a chip on his shoulder when he comes back. He was proclaimimg himself as the best WR in the league, get out there and prove it. I found it funny watching a game and the announcer mentioned Lewis as the best, but Rhymes was right with him.  No mention of Lawler.

Lawler has yet to put 18 games together. Reduced schedule/suspension in 2021, Injured last year, suspended this year.

He need to stay on the field.
