Looks like Cole is in too, maybe as a reward for his special team play, also might be indicator that Gautier isn't completely healthy.

Couture starts, Clements starts, Lawrence starts at corner, Holm backups Parker.
Bailey gametime decision.

Surprised they're going with Lawrence on the corner, they brought him in with 2 games remaining and didn't even dress him for their last game.  It doesn't give him much time to figure out the system or the coaching staff to properly evaluate his abilities.

Same. That is an area of concern and I think they ll  be testing him early and often with Rhymes and Hollins

Lawrence has been around with the team long enough and had more than enough time to absorb the defence. He played well in his 1st game and I wasn't sure if he was actually injured or moved off the roster in a balancing act of need versus ratio. He is 3" taller than Houston and that might have been a factor will Lions taller receivers.

Either way, thought Houston in full practice would make the roster. That gives him one more week to get ready for the Grey Cup game next weekend. :)

I wonder who the back up at SAM will be if a need arises?

I did expect Machino to be moved off the AR which happened. It does make me wonder why he goes to 1 game IR while Rutledge goes to PR? Game day check, play off money etc involved. Possible Grey Cup money and ring too.

Rutledge falling Orr the AR was a mystery....something about "hitting the wall" if I recall but nothing more?   He seemed to be fitting in nicely with our D and he hit a ton!   Perhaps there's more to it than we know or MOS is willing to share

Yah, Rutledge hasn't played for 4 or 5 games, pretty sure he won't be getting any snaps in the playoffs now. Could be personal reasons they pulled him but I can't recall hearing that reason to excuse a player before, doubt we'll ever know the truth.

Im thinking Rutledge is on OShea's (or Hall's) dog's house for some reason.
