Calgary had 19 picks we had 16

Huge advantage we are at home but I still think the best way to beat Rourke is to limit the time he has with the ball.

I didn't say we'd sack him, I said we'd put him on his back.

We've caused a lot of pressure this year without actually getting sacks.

And in our 5 quarters against Rourke, he has looked uncomfortable.

The longer our O has the ball, the more rested our D is... so ground and pounding the ball, short passes, etc will be the key.

Putting a QB "on his back" is not the same as a sack.

The Stampeders sacked Rourke four times on Sunday per the stats sheet on CFL.ca, not five.

The magic Collaros has performed with Demski, Schoen, Bailey, and Ellingson is spell-binding. He can beat a D with the short stuff but as soon as they cheat or someone blows an assignment he'll burn them with a long one. In these ways Rourke and Collaros are similar.

What I believe Collaros does better than any other QB in the league is how he can drop a pass over the defender into his receiver's grasp from height. The air he puts under his throws is superb and there is no defense for it. Zach is the best at it by far.

I'm obviously very impressed with Rourke the individual. I think some of the Bomber fans out there trying to minimize his accomplishments are just ridiculous.

But BC is  not at Winnipeg's level. Certainly not at IG Field in the cold.

I don't anticipate a close game.

I haven't seen any of that. I have seen people object to the wild extrapolations made of his accomplishments in limited time, however. That's 100% valid because it's puuuurrree speculation.

They got most of it right, but this is just bull-hooey.  DL?  WPG's DL is far and away superior to BC's!  There is no better pair of DEs in the league than "The 2 J's".

No, WPG was one of the least-sacky teams on D, but if you count all the pressures, we must be top-3.  Hall & our DL guys have said many times the goal isn't sacks.  The goal is to make the QB uncomfortable, and that includes many things, many of which don't show up in stats.  Jesse nailed it.

To your other point, I don't know where to find it, but Richie Hall was asked (by 3down) to compare Rourke to other CFL greats that he coached against and his response was basically, "settle down, he seems like a nice kid but he's played half a season, that's disrespectful to the guys you just named" (I'm paraphrasing).
