The weather will change 5 times before game time on Sunday. But it will be a minus, so get out your long under wear and winter boots.
Actually the GM outfit is better in the winter with loads of room for layers. I actually prefer it at -15 than +30 easily! ;D

Bring on the Lions. They are certainly capable of beating us but the game is at IGF and that should be the difference maker.  Lions showed a couple of new wrinkles we better be ready for this week.

Need to play as close to mistake free as possible and not out think ourselves as the Stamps did on Sunday. The Lions outplayed them but perhaps more importantly out coached them. What was Dickie the great thinking on those 3rd down choices?

We are rested, healthy, and at home. No way we lose this game.

We lose if we play poorly - make poor decisions and take bad penalties.

Houston and Kolankowski were practising somewhat last week. Ditto for Holm. As usual we'll have to see who is at "full " this week and may be added to the game day roster. Getting Houston back would be a pleasant surprise.

I'm obviously very impressed with Rourke the individual. I think some of the Bomber fans out there trying to minimize his accomplishments are just ridiculous.

But BC is  not at Winnipeg's level. Certainly not at IG Field in the cold.

I don't anticipate a close game.

They are just being silly. I know Rourke personally and he has always been a warrior.  There is no quit in this kid. He will give us a fight but overall as a team it will be too much for him.

Never say never in sports as anything can happen.  Tell that to Calgary that lost a few cups they should have won easily.

If he held anything back, we'd be seeing Calgary here this Sunday. That's the way it works in the playoffs. There's no overdoing it.

Forget about his foot. Rourke (and his receivers) were superb. He's proven he can play through his injury and at a high level no less. It's really jacked up the rest of that team too. That is the effort we are going see from BC this Sunday. Count on it.

The Bombers need to be ready, and they will be. They will have learned from last year. They won't get away with spotting a bunch of turnovers this time. Not with that guy playing for the other team. It's going to be an awesome CFL Divisional Final at IGF.

Rourke has phenomenal accuracy, he throws and completes passes even when the DB has great coverage.  The Bomber secondary has to communicate when the ball is in the air to knock those passes away or intercept, back to the QB flailing arms Rose in chase mode isn't going to cut it.  The colder temps. may not deter Rourke from throwing tight passes but it should effect some of his receivers who may not have experienced it before, it'll be much harder catching a frozen ball with their fingertips, easier to catch against the body.

Lincoln Locomotive

One thing that is noticeable about Rourke is how quickly he gets rid of the ball......he has receivers who are good at YAC sans Lucky Whitehead but still plenty of weapons.   Butler out of the backfield is no slouch either but we'll see how nicked he was after that game.

While I agree that anything can happen, the comparison to Calgary isn't accurate. This team isn't coached by a smug goof.

We would need to double them in turnovers to lose.  Otherwise we golden.  Win trench war and run the ball effectively and everything else will fall in place.

Sounds like it could be a parking nightmare on Sunday.

Take a bus or a cab.

Oh, we are good. But with that other event running until 2pm. There could be a problem.
