Again I did not see this coming.  I was not sure about Brady and at the beginning of the season I thought Augustine should be given more or a shot.  That said I trusted in Coach O and his staff as being much more informed and smarter than I.  I am happy to say I was wrong to be concerned and coaches were on the money.

Brady did well. Was dinged. Was disheartened and kept working. Nice to see a young man fight adversity, stick with it and be successful. A lot of young people are not resilient these days for whatever reason and he is an example of what showing up every day and working can accomplish.

One cannot discount that this was done in his home town which also raises the expectation and pressure.  I spoke a few people over the years and one NHL and one NFL player said they never wanted to play for their home team because of the pressure and distractions.  So again good for Brady.  I hope you are here and perform many years like this.

Credit where credit is due.

Love it man, so many turned on him but props to the believers.  We have the luxury of one great and one good back.  Nice time to be a Bomber fan and our run game came together late like I knew it would.  Early season I didn't think Brady would put up this much yardage but there is not stopping him now.  I like both our backs but Brady can run  over people which will be critical in the cold. Another beast!!!

The growth of the offensive line has coincided with Olivera's growth. The O line was dominating BC's line last night. The running back is the chief benefactor of that kind of strong play. Team work leads to individual success.

Yes and a shout out to Andrew Harris too. I have no doubt Brady learned a lot from Andrew and is a better back today because of it.

Ya, I think most have mea culpa'd.  I know I have.  Dude went out and proved me wrong.  They let BO/JA try out for the spot, and gave each plenty of reps, and BO won it.

JA didn't get quite as many reps before they decided, but I think it's safe to say JA would not have performed as well.  JA might be stuck as perpetual #2.  And that's fine and I hope he stays here, as we need a quality NAT RB backup.  I have full confidence JA would perform well if/when called upon.

What does BO's contract look like?  It would be nice if we already have 2023 set in stone.  If we win the cup BO's price is going to shoot up.

Under contract for next year.

If you'll remember, all our RBs were unsigned after last year. Part of Harris' departure was focused on him being offered the smallest contract of the three.
My wife is amazing!

Let?s not forget to give the O line their just due. They too struggled opening up holes for BO but drastically improved and without them 1000 yard seasons don?t happen.

He will get better and help us get over the loss of AH33....and to be fair, he has already accomplished this.   AH may yet play this season, and wouldn't that be a story line if the Bombers and Argos square off in Regina?

I bet Andrew misses playing behind this O-line. They are the best in the league and showed it against BC. Any report on Hardrick? I believe he was nicked against BC.

I wish we still had the 300 year old running back who can only run through two gaps.

Yoshi is fine.  He didn't even come out for a play.  He's always marginal like this.  I don't think his knees are so great.  But he just keeps on a'truckin.  I fully expect him to be fine for the post-season.  He'll Strevie it if he has to.

That's great to hear. I absolutely love that guy and the intensity he brings to each and every game.

Streveler is dead to me now. He's been waived by 3 NFL teams and never caught on. He could have stayed here and won championsips but chose to chase his NFL dream instead. Too bad.

Chris Streveler is currently on the New York Jets active roster.
