Ford showed well in his short time at the helm, I don't think they are far behind BC in the QB department.

Elks defence has gotten worse and they are mistake prone and not playing as a team. Regardless of who ends up at QB, this should be an easy game for the Lions. Lions want 2nd place. Elks just want to get ready for golf.

But, then there is this to consider.

Disappointing to still see 8 starters out tonight: defence- Banks, Breaux, Gwacham; offence- Rourke, Mackie, Norman, Whitehead, Burnham.

A bc win tonight they capture second place in the west. Lose and stamps still have a long shot. They need to win out and bc loses to bombers next weekend. Most likely bc wraps second up tonight unless Edmunchuk has a miraculous second half. Such a sad sack team.

yes, you are right. The score is 28-14 1:27 to go in the 3rd and you know EElkies are not coming back. Terrible terrible coaching. The Red blacks have much more of there stuff together than this pathetically led team. Chris Jones is just the 3 stooges built into one man. Cannot believe Edmonton hired this fool again!

Well the Lions game against us is basically 2 teams that have locked up first and second place and really have nothing to play for other that BC maybe wanting to trot Rourke out for a test drive?  a bit of an anticlimactic end to the regular season....however a game in which we can still rest our injured players and perhaps give Zach a few reps to keep him in the offensive flow of things.....

I still think o?shea does not want to give bc any hopes for the western final though. Show them who is boss in our barn. More a psychological game than needing the points. A blow out would be best although our starters at best play a half. If roarke plays, bring the house often.
