On BonFire Sport's After Game Show.....there was a discussion regarding an inconsolable emotional outburst during the game.    Can anyone elaborate on this & confirm it.....I'd just like to hear it from another perspective.   I was kind of surprised however his emotions run high at the best of times,    There is I believe no one that tries harder than Sheed' and he had two catches last nite almost scoring on one of them!

I hope he's ok because he still is a big part of our offence......

Huh?

Sorry, never saw anything??football is an emotional game, ?.maybe the shooting at his former High school has shaken him.

He has had a great season, improving each game.

According to BF Sports he left the field of play angrily and was trying to be consoled by JJ on the sidelines?   I'm just reiterating what was talked about at length on the Post Game show.    I just hope he's in a better frame of mind as this seems out of character for any player on a MOS coached team.

You didn't mention that this outburst occurred after "another Schoen TD" with the celebration going on in the endzone.
I've noticed signs of his disgruntlement before, often Bailey does not take part in other receivers TD celebrations if he's not already in the area he just turns away and walks directly off the field.  Being a super passionate person is hard to manage, as the emotions tend to veer between both extremes.

i will rewatch the tv feed to see if there is anything to this..maybe he was being interfered with on that play and just got frustrated.  He almost scored on a play earlier and was just tripped up...

I just caught a bit of this and not all the details....yes they did mention that it happened after a TD celly and he just stormed off the field.   Let's hope he doesn't have any more of these displays as MOS won't tolerate it.    Seeings how I only listen to radio broadcasts and watch highlite reels I miss the in between the lines stuff.    That's why I posted it, because this is a bit worrisome and doesn't fit in with the Bomber mantra of FIFO!

Yes I  have noticed this from him since he got here.  However, he has also either bit his tongue and probably like any receiver want the ball.  I want him to be like that.  He is passionate.

Now unlike the other receivers who are prima donnas in the league, Sheed blocks, and he runs his patterns hard.

I hate his moments of pouting, but so far I don't see him distract from his play.

Like I said, last yer h seemed to fade away.  This year he is fitting in.

The ball doesn't go to him as much as he'd like.  I think there are schemes where he is a #2 option but Zach takes Demski or Schoen instead.  Hot hands, etc.

Maybe seeing the other guys get their 2nd or 3rd TD look miffs him.  Hey, it's really tough in that situation when you think you're the senior guy who should get looks.  I don't think he gets upset about Demski, but Schoen is just a fresh faced little kid to Sheed.  I can see how this would be tough.

But he has to put that away and just focus on the team.  We can't afford to lose Bailey (or have him half-arse it) going into the post-season.

This is something that MOS/Buck need to address directly.  They need to come to an understanding.  You can't just ignore it and let it fester.

If he's really unhappy he can go get big $$ in FA in the off-season.  He'd be picked up by other teams in a heartbeat.

Let him walk he is mediocre at best

Is he getting upset because he's getting covered too well?

That Demski and Schoen seem to be getting free more?

That the guys covering him are doing more to interfere?

I can understand if he gets tripped or bumped or if he is too closely covered, and Zach is forced to progress past him, that he would get frustrated, and he does not seem to be a guy that hides his emotions...

And, if he and another receiver are both open, and Zach chooses the deeper ball... again, I can see the frustration.

He is making timely and quality catches, and is a very important part of the corps, I hope he isn't losing his team spirit...

Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

I think the called plays are putting him down at #3/#4 read a lot.  I think both Buck and Zach prefer the hot/sure hands.  Bailey usually drops a catchable one once a game.

Bailey's also not as fast, nor as good a route runner.

But Bailey is the absolute best choice for a suicide crosser (along with Woli), and also for an unexpected go route once in a while.  Teams know we use Bailey mostly in the short/mid game and we can sucker them with this once in a while.  I think Sheed should sit back and watch film of Lawler in blue & gold and how he'd always find the best sit spot in the zone on the mid-pass.  That is precisely what we need Sheed to do now.

Maybe Bailey was especially upset in the last game after he got blown up on that hitch screen.  That play had Zach all pissed off too, I think he really hated Buck for calling the conservative play that could have gotten Sheed murdered.

I love Bailey's fire and hope he can redirect any anger into improving his play.  I hope the coaches and team mates engage him so he can understand this.  He is absolutely a required component of this winning team, at least for this (post)season.

Bailey is a great receiver. He catches the hard catches. Dont see him drop the ball at all. If it wasnt for him this team would have lost a few games with elingson and demski out for a few games during the season

He is a good receiver for what they use him for, but he doesn't have Lawler's hands or Demski's ability to get open and catch long balls over the shoulder (CFL best), not sure he even has Woli's ability to make spectacular diving catches.  He's a grinder, good catching balls in tight situations, blocking, and picking up YAC, I think he should accept his position and understand his role in this offence is important, but replaceable.

Those shots to Demski and Schoen are often Zach's first reads, as soon as the Safety moves forward he knows where he's going with the ball.

Bailey has always been an emotional player...  nothing will change.. hope he can continue to contribute in whatever ways he can to the offence.
