There are lots of retread NHL coaches available, aren't there?  Is their AHL the interim answer, or is he a legit option?

Weird time to fire him, IMO. Not that his leash should've been long considering the Oilers' putrid start but I don't understand canning a coach after a win.

Blue Jackets F Gaudreau and Laine both benched in last night's eventual loss to the Coyotes. CBJ on a seven-game losing streak.

PL29 hasn't had much luck with CBJ. Lots of injuries, now he's benched. We could us him on our PP.

He appeared to turn things around during the 2019-20 season but since getting traded, he's fallen off a cliff.

With the right pieces around him, he can be a lethal winger. He doesn't have that support in Columbus, though.
