Firstly we are after a playoff birth. Don't worry he will help Jets EARN a first overall pick  I can't see the Oilers finishing better than last in the Pacific. They'll be getting another top end draft pick this summer, hopefully along with the Jets. |

Tkachuk? Theres 4, arguably 5 players available this year better than Tkachuk. If I'm in the basement of the league over halfway through the season Tkachuk isn't who I want. |

what a wacky trade between Senators & the Leafs ........ happy for Dion P., in getting out of Leaf land ........... he may desire to be back there in maybe 3 years.
Expect us to land out of the Top 5 unless Chevy moves up or the Jets really tank (which I do not expect)....... so Tkachuk will probably not be available IMO.

So was Raffi Torres. Matthews, Puljujarvi, Laine, Chychrun, Nylander are all better choices than Tkachuk. If my team was drafting and Tkachuk was the BPA I'd trade down. |

But if the Jets get the fifth overall pick, I don't think anyone would be upset about Tkachuk getting taken. Same goes for the Oilers or whatever team were to draft him. |
