"Buying the book" Lol.

Not only is that not a thing, I don't think Biggie sells out for a PR contract.

He misses the game, there is no doubt.  He's a baller, and father time and younger guys squeezed him off the roster.

I am surprised he took a PR spot, but I guess anything to get pads back on.

Wonder if Obby suggested this...
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

It is a thing and Biggie will tell all, but teams see each other every week and don't need to poach players to learn anything. It's right there in film.
My wife is amazing!

I think CGY sees their success and legit thinks they have a good GC shot this year.  We're their main impediment.  Getting the skinny on your main rival is a great way to get the slight edge to put you over the top.

I know many think "tinfoil", but the tell is if they never dress the player, or maybe give them 1-2 games (think Agudosi).

Plus, never hurts to have HOF Biggie-level MLB as injury depth on your PR!  Heck, make him your de facto asst LB coach and see what he's got there.

Woah, the Stamps are a GC contender and we're their main competition??!! This is the same team that just lost at home to the Deadblacks...with their backup Qb playing?? Stamps are hardly GC contenders, they will be west bottom dwellers and be lucky to make the playoffs, and if they did, they'll have to get by BC or Sask before they get to us, and they won't get by either the way they are playing.

Bighill will get a shot at playing again, and that's all he wants, Calgary needs a MLB, its a perfect fit. It's troubling that the Stamps have no other MLB options other than a retired Bighill. Wow.

I hope it works out for Biggie, as another poster said, as long as it doesn't impact us. It's probably not a coincidence that as Huffer pulls away from many of his responsibilities that the club is looking weaker.

Coach Cal was the best!!! This franchise turned around and ruled under his rein in the 80's.

Well, ones that might give us post-season trouble, yes!  Every. Single. Time!  Get out the double-strength foil.

Ya, I think CGY looks like they can give BC and SSK a run for their money for a playoff spot and potential run.  (Although maybe without Begelton it's impossible now.)

CGY lit up the much-vaunted-in-PS EDM, and the pegged-in-PS-to-win-the-cup HAM.

A wet & freezing game where the turf & ball were slippery doesn't change anything.  OTT was the smart team to start their "running QB", maybe one of the runningest QBs of all, regardless of injury situation.  CGY should have done the same, if they have one.  You ain't winning a run-only game with deep-pass VAJ in there.  And maybe you missed that Mills had more run yards than Stanback...

I thought CGY would royally suck in my pre-season predictions (along with EDM), but CGY really showed they can ball this year.  Amazing what getting a "real" QB can do for you.  If BC or SSK start faltering, CGY will be there to steal that last playoff spot.

I think the loss of begelton really hurts their offense, which was challenged to begin with, and the fact they have signed biggie says their defense is in trouble too. I have them fighting it out with the elks to see who gets to sleep in the wests basement this season.

Here's the Cal Murphy image you should use, iconic.
