Don't get me wrong... I love the new NFL rules to make sure more kicks are returned.
However, punts are still only returned at a rate of about 40% with the fair catch rules (and punts out of bounds).

The example you gave was Rasheed Shaheed (awesome name), and he is their WR2.
My point is that they rarely if ever have a dedicated returner on the roster. Especially with the new kick off rules aimed to reduce the danger for returners.

I agree The NFL is much more exciting this season.. partly the younger coaches I think.

It seems a bit more like the CFL in some ways.... More Crazy plays, like an interception and two fumbles on the same play... lots of down to the wire games.. the seahawk win in overtime by two point convert...

Could you imagine if the NFL put the 5 yard halo in place?  Take away the "stand around" rule?

If the NFL adopted the no yards and the CFL overtime rules, do you think NFL fans would stop watching because they were "Canadianizing the league"?
