O'Shea in full circle. Started with dud coordinators and might end with dud coordinators.

The Zipp

crazy and outrushed us by 133 yards

younger and hogan should be fired on monday or right after the grey cup (i think cfl frowns on big moves during playoffs)

Pete

Whats so frustrating is that we went into this grey cup the same way we approached the season, in a passive nonaggressive manner. We knew what the weaknesses were  ie the defensive line, and the offensive line. We tried to put band aids on them and in the end it resulted in a 4th place finish and a playoff exit. (that we were still starting JT in the playoffs says a lot)
To take this approach in a grey cup hosting year is sad, and thats how I'm feeling

Sir Blue and Gold

Quote from: Ducky on November 01, 2025, 08:12:11 PMHe was the best player in the entire league last year. 2nd best player on the team this year. Not relying on him today was stupid.

Hogan sucks but you can't blame him for calling passing plays down 25-6.

The deep ball got us back in the game.

Running backs are not worth what we pay Oliveira. He's not the only one though.

I could seen him looking elsewhere after the way he was mis-used this season.
For sure this will come up in contract negotiations and money says Brady will insist there is a change at OC. Our playbook used to be run heavy, not so much this season

But then again, your allstar Rb coughs up a major fumble that cost us the game

The defensive game strategy has been a question all season. QB's have had too long to throw and it has always come back to bite us. Roster choices have been a puzzle. Someone one want to explain Ayers on the roster instead of any unnamed DL we didn't pick up this season?  Somehow he managed a DT but no ST's today.

It's going to be a long off season. AGAIN.  Our potential free agent list will approach 25 - 30 AGAIN.

IMO, I'd be releasing some players we don't want back rather than just letting them reach free agency. It's sends a message which needs to be sent.

We've been hard on Hogan. Rightfully so. However, he didn't build the roster. Walters has a lot to answer for and I don't think we've heard much from him this year.

One game at a time.

We were down by so much so early that it took us out of using him more. All that said, he's over paid but that's the nature of the ratio and starters that are Canadians. I don't dispute he's one of the best if not the best, but SMS is cumulative across the roster.

Yes.  He and the scouts are in charge of who is coming in. Sure, Osh defines who is on the roster, but he doesn't control who they find.

I also mentioned that earlier.  Is he making his way out of the club? I could see him going elsewhere.  I don't know but for someone who should be very involved he doesn't seem to have been.

Brady is NOT overpaid.  It just feels like it because we lost.  When you are the star RB of the league and have won awards, you are not overpaid.

Ya we got behind today so we didn't use bo but we didn't use him in a lot of games

We need a new OC plain and simple.

Bailey dressed, did anyone see him?

Pete

every playoff game we've lost in the last 4 years has seen our running game completely shut down and by scheme or our refusal to stay with it. We know what the other team will do yet we seem helpless to counter it. all use the same blueprint.
I've said all year we don't game plan effectively and this is the latest example of ineffective preparation and coaching

That's who I'd be going after too. He has a chance to improve and maybe #1 in a year or so . I m sure he's tired of losing in Ottawa

So, Wilson clearly open in the EZ and "doink"...

But lets not change the goal posts...
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.
