I can't imagine any team signing him at this point. He's 34 years old and still has a 2 game suspension to absorb.

I don't know what shape he's in but by the time he could be game ready and learn a new playbook, the season will be into the 2nd half or beyond.

It would be bad PR for a team to sign him IMO.

Interesting statement, the league is hooked on heroin, but they don't really like it.

"Protecting the integrity of the play on the field is of the utmost importance and we will not tolerate players violating the CFL's Match Manipulation Policy. Mr. Lemon's suspension, which was the longest in league history, was necessary and appropriate," said CFL Commissioner Stewart Johnston. "He has taken full responsibility for his actions. He understands how wagering negatively impacts sports and has re-educated himself on league policy. He is now committed to helping other players learn from his mistake."

Have any numbers been published to show the financial impact sports gambling has had on the league?  They could explain the unexpected surplus.

Flavio Briatore showed up in F1 again this year after like 10 years banishment; worth a read if you don't know who he is.  Some teams just don't care about stuff like this.  Boggles the mind sometimes.

That's making Dinwiddie and Pinball extremely happy indeed.  The games-missed by the star QBs for each time will probably even out.  And the W/L % for those games should also even out.

The funny thing is, this all could allow HAM to run away with the East!  Kind of ironic and hilarious.

Hopefully we get to face MTL when their QB is out?  I'm pretty sure we will not luck into "easy TOR" with no Kelly when we face them very soon.  Every other team got to get the easy W, but we'll have to do it the hard way.
