CFL Game Zone changes?

[Balticfox]

They didn't have Cenecle two weeks ago. He was my sleeper (33 points that week, yes I am bitter).

Lots of players are missing from the gamezone stats page, so options were a bit limited.  (No Berryhill for example.)

I was forced to send Genius Sports emails four or five times this year roasting them for their inattention in leaving starters off the Fantasy player roster.

[Tecno]

Haha, I wanted Berryhill but no entry in the gamezone stats so I can't.  Doh!  Like 80Y and TD.  Murphy's law.

[Tecno]

Really tough week.  Only got good results because of WPG D and Rourke.  Did any RB have a good game?  I think Butler outperformed Horvath!  Horvath has been on a steep downtrend.

Thanks for doing the math & running this for fun Foxy!

[Balticfox]

Actually James Butler garnered only 3.9 points.

But the Saskatchewan Roughrider RBs did well for their price:

A.J. Ouellette(?) - 13.9
Thomas Bertrand-Hudon($3600) - 5.4

But quite a few players are missing from the last Fantasy list. Genius Sports has been quick to delete injured players from the Fantasy list this year but they've been tardy in reinstating those players when they reappear on a team's Depth Chart.  I'll be posting prices of the key missing players within a day.

[Tecno]

I don't think any rb got in the ez?? Very weird week. Heck, I'm not sure any sy qb did either? That's also very odd for the CFL.

[Balticfox]

Basically they were both low scoring games and only WR's got into the end zone. Other than the Blue Bombers Defence and Nathan Rourke, these would have been the great picks:

Jevon Cottoy ($12.4) - 33.1
Nic Demski ($8.9) - 19.2
Stanley Berryhill III (N/A) - 15.8

Brett Lauther ($7.5) - 18.0
Lirim Hajrullahu ($9.8 ) - 16.0

Sergio Castillo's 3.0 points though lived right down to his $4,100 price.

I'll post prices for Berryhill and the other missing players based upon their last prices in Fantasy tomorrow.

[Balticfox]

Okay! So here are salaries/prices for players we might want to pick who are missing from the current Fantasy list:

Montréal Alouettes

Travis Theis - $13,900
Tyson Philpot - $15,000
Tyler Snead - $15,000
Cole Spieker - $7,700

Edmonton Elks

Justin Rankin - $12,000
Javon Leake - $4,400
Austin Mack - $12,000
T.J. Luther - $5,500

British Columbia Lions

James Butler - $7,100
Stanley Berryhill III - $7,600

[Tecno]

You mean snead $15k? No one is ever over 15k

[Balticfox]

Whoops! Yes, Tyler Snead is $15,000.

[Balticfox]

Okay! For the Division Finals:

Post your entries/teams by 3:05 PM EST game time tomorrow!

[Tecno]

4.1 WPG D
15.0 Cody
12.0 Rankin
7.6 Berryhill
7.7 Spieker
3.1 Julient-Grant
12.4 Cottoy
12.6 Hatcher
5.5 EDM    K Blanchard
= $80k

Wow, I'm going BC heavy even though I think they will lose.  Probably because EDM will win on the ground.  I'm guessing Cody will get a lot of short passing TDs as well as he will sneak in another 1-2 himself.  I wanted Snead or Philpot but there's no way to squeak them in instead of Hatcher.

[Balticfox]

I have no problem whatsoever with your thinking concerning the Lions-Elks game. Regardless of these Fantasy picks, I'll be pulling very hard for the Blue Bombers and the Elks today. Hopefilly I won't end up disappointed.

I'd suggest that you check out the Montréal Alouettes' Depth Chart for the game though.

[Tecno]

Ok, ignore my first roster.  Thanks for the tip on Spieker

If EDM is super windy that changes my BC-air-game idea.  I'll go more balanced and use the flex for the run game.  Horvath hasn't done squat in many games (probably hurt) but I think he's gotta wake up today.

4.1 WPG D
15.0 Cody
12.0 Rankin

8.7 McInnis
6.4 O'Leary Orange
5.0 Rambo
9.9 White (WPG)

13.2 Horvath

5.5 EDM K Blanchard
= $79.8
