No, just something aard's is running with for some reason.

Walters debunked anything Lawler said in his latest interview. Lawler was either ignorant to his contract negotiations or is lying about what happened. The only reason he's upset is we chose not to partake in a bidding war so he could gouge the Ti-cats for an even bigger contract.

All that article demonstrates is that Kenny Lawler comes across as a fragile manchild with entitlement and ego issues. Not FIFO material - at all.

Whether it is true from the Bombers side of the equation, its true in Kenny's head.  Which is the only place a decision about signing with the WFC gets made.

Was it a logical thought?  No.

Was it a legitimate concern? No.

Did it matter to Kenny?  Obviously.
