Blue In BC

I'm exhausted so I'm not going to read all the posts today. The game was not going our way so there would have been a lot of disappointment and frustration.

On one hand it's easy to say we didn't deserve to win. That said the game is 60 minutes and we made the right plays at the right time. The bounces weren't going our way for most of the game.

It was ugly, but rejoice in the victory.

No more excuses

At home.  Lost there...

Is going to be a challenge, but we have nothing to lose, they have everything to lose.  Going to grip the stick too tight, I hope.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Yes we are!  ... hmm, should I go again?  I do love MTL (the city, not the football team).  Because of my 9.5 it would be "on house money"...

Is anyone else going to go?  Ya, we'll probably lose, but these games are a lot more palatable if you EXPECT to lose.  Last season I expected to win.  Talk about house money... WFC playing in the EDF is total house money.  Dudes can play super loose and that might help.

No waiting to go to Calgary for the big dance

We totally didn't deserve to win... Except the D.  The D was stellar.  The system actually worked for like half the TOR drives.  This is shocking.

Oh ya, and ST.  ST deserved to win.  Except Castillo.  If he keeps this up he'll be as unpopular in WPG as Lauther v1.0 was in SSK.  Castillo is too

The O did one good scripted drive, as they often have this season, then did absolutely nothing (or worse!) for the whole game, then managed to get a short-field TD right at the end.

Wow.  Who would have thought that punting with like 1:45 left would be a good idea.  However, I guess when your D was hot, and your ST ok, and your O stinking... maybe that's the smart move.

Good on ya' MOS.  Most other HCs would have gone for the gamble.

Now that we won, can we discuss how strict the refs were calling things?

One way or the other, they were way too involved in that game.
My wife is amazing!

I think Hansen recovered the fumbled punt by Grant.

Demski plays pretty good for a GTD.

Agree. I will give the TSN turn point award to Fletcher. He strips Kelly and injures him at the same time to turn this game around. A lot of pissed off Argo fans. On to Montreal.
Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

Pssshaw.  It's the CFL.  It's November.  Stubhub always has deals, especially if you can wait until the last second.  I've never failed yet!  See me in CGY in '19 1 hour before kickoff in the hotel across the highway scoring 2 Stubhub tix to the GC for $100 each!

We should hope for a St Lawrence Seaway sleet storm for that game: that will favor us and all the tickets will be $50.

One way or the other, they were way too involved in that game.

They did stick to my observation that they "let them play" more in the last 3 mins though.  Only 1 penalty then?  And they let the early/DPI slide on the 3rd down.  Total waist-grab-and-twist -- though extremely tight to the ball arriving so not a sure-thing even if challenged.
