Blue In BC

Yesterday's IR report is as useless as usual. 8 players listed as " DNP ". The 2 listed at " full " are Hazen and Moxey who are eligible to come off the 6 game IR.

Of the 8 not practising the only questions are whether Smith, Ayers or Gatkough might be available. The other 5 I expect will be playing.

Today's report will probably be a carbon copy of yesterdays report.

Today's Injury Report shows only N. Demski, N. Gatkuoth, M. Ayers and J. Smith as DNP.  All others on the Injury List participated in a Full Practice including B. Oliviera.

Well there's the explanation I wanted to hear but it's not very reassuring, Younger knew what was coming on that last drive but half the players on the field couldn't figure it out.

Thank goodness Lawson is back at practice, losing him for the season on that jump ball play would have caused them a lot of problems.

#BCLions notes - expecting crowd of upwards of 30,000 for Friday's game vs Bombers. Kaidon Salter taking 1st team reps, expect him to start. Chris Oladokun taking reps, also expected to get minutes. Majority of Lions starting receivers spectators during reps.

I don't believe a word of his BS. Edmonton is up at the end of the game and wants to kill the clock, so they are going to run the ball, there is no mystery about this concept, its been that way since the turn of time. We are the weakest in the league by a mile vs stopping the run. It has nothing to do with half the players can't figure it out, but if it was, call a time out to get it figured out. We are just a bad run defense because we re too small in the middle and can't defeat blocks to make tackles. Funny when Bighill was here, we could stop the run. We need a MLB period.
