I think the opposite. BC is gonna play to win next week just to eliminate us.

Their backups will play to win, I guess.

We need to beat them next week to get in. They'll have their foot off the gas, so we may fall backwards into the playoffs like last year, but it's not a good feeling at all.

Yes, BC will have the foot off the gas.  But they'll probably still dress & play Rourke for a Q and get 1-2 TD.

But it won't matter because Horvath & Salter (and Butler) will run 90% of all snaps and get 6-80 every single run.  Just like they did last when we last faced them.  And we won't run blitz.  And we won't stop the run.  We will let them run all over us as we play our normal plan thinking it doesn't have flaws, when its #1 flaw is it cannot stop an all-run team with a running QB.

We won't back into the playoffs.  We'll be out, and maybe SSK will beat TOR to get wasted by MTL in the EDF.  But they'll still have bragging rights that they made it farther than we did.

It's a lost season.  Mafia blew it all year, but most importantly since/starting with the LDC.

And to rub salt in the wound the garbage teams we beat down the stretch (CGY, SSK) are going to end up ahead of us.  It's only too bad our last game isn't in WPG, because the crowd sure as heck would let them know how we feel about our D not being able to stop Salter.  Especially after seeing what CGY's D could do to him.
