Do you have a similar "hidden" link for HAM?  It's the only team I cannot find the newest charts page for.  Thanks!

Quote from: Waffler on October 17, 2026, 09:42:52 PMMaltos broke that arm. Gruesome looking. It was like Kelly's leg but it was his arm.

Might be just the typical wrist sprain or break that people get when falling on their butts and trying to cushion the fall with the wrist bent in a bad way.

Question: can a kicker still be accurate wearing a cast?  The FG guy does not need to use his hands in any manner at all.  But it could throw off your balance on your approach.  I'd guess anything that's not "normal" can throw things off.

I'm right at the Malots injury point.  I haven't seen the final scores nor read the thread beyond this point.

I just want to say that that missed easy 50Y FG may end up costing us a playoff spot.  Knowing our luck this will be the case.  SSK wins and we can't beat BC and it's all over.

I pray SSK can't finish this drive, because no way Crum will get anything with 30s left and they now have no kicker.  Such horrible luck we had to face MTL then EDM full strength and SSK gets team B MTL and then team B EDM next week.  If this goes to OT SSK likely wins too, as they are built for 3down 35y drives.

Quote from: BBRT on October 17, 2026, 11:45:12 PMHere's my thoughts! Riders looked useless for about 99% of the game but were able to pull it out at then end when it mattered. Not something the Bombers have been known to do this year.

Well, I knew this was coming after that missed kick...

Tell me about it.  We botch so many winnable home games, like that recent one to TOR.  We botch close away games.

SSK was absolutely pathetic and couldn't do a single thing today and yet they pulled it off.  Even we, as we are now, could beat SSK in this game.

We are bad this year AND we did something to upset the football gods.  Because in no world should this have all transpired.  When's the last time we got a break from them?

I kind of feel like Dinwiddie -- sitting there all season (up until a few days ago) and watching winnable games all turn against them.  But it's even worse than Dinwiddie, because our team is probably middling, not basement.

Mafia should be ashamed.  Now to watch the CGY game, which I also have no idea what the final score is.  But seeing what just happened, and knowing the football gods, I have little doubt that CGY will win, and then we'll lose to a Rourke-less Hatcher-less BC next week.

Mace said at halftime he was going to have words with the locker room and the team would NOT be as flat in the 2nd H.  And they weren't.  Why doesn't MOS ever say that?  Do that?  Why does no one care if we're fired up?  Why is no one interested in improving as the game goes on?

Sad.

Quote from: tlf on October 17, 2026, 09:56:39 PMTo be fair, they barely beat MTL without Philpot, Snead and Alexander. That's not good for them in the playoffs.

There are 3 teams that will do something in playoffs: EDM, MTL, BC.  And BC probably won't do much.  The cup will 99% for sure be EDM/MTL, with MTL winning if Alexander's hammy stays intact.

Anyone else in the playoffs will get slaughtered.  Doesn't matter if it's TOR, CGY, SSK, or us.  They'll all lose 48-10.  The parity early in the league got hosed by the great teams that just kept getting greater and the posers went to pot.

But the embarrassment of being the team out (if that transpires) will be something Mafia has to wear all off-season.  It'll kill recruitment and we'll be back to overpaying, as our trend is from cup-winners, to cup-players, to xover to out.  And the next step after that is OTT'sville.  No one wants to play for that.

Aside, the reason the challenge in this game had the non-call DPI overturned is because of the hands around the waist early and grabbing through the whole play.  I didn't see much turn, but they really don't like the handsy.  I guess you could argue he did "impede" him getting back and up for the ball... but I don't think that was the main point.

It may have been the most iffy overturn all season.  There may have been a bit of "help the Riders since the game matters only for them".
