Smith went down did he come back?
Willie went down
Zach took a few hits but shook it off
Who am I missing?

I question whether Jefferson was hurt or did he go down because the Bombers did not have a timeout and wanted to slow down the Calgary offense. Smith didn't look good. Hopefully he is okay.

Jesse

The speculation is that Smith is seriously injured.
My wife is amazing!

I think Smith is out for the year (gut feel)

Blue In BC

Jefferson might have been either exhausted or faking an injury to allow the defence to catch a breather. Or both. I didn't consider it an actual injury per se.

Smith is the only one I'm concerned about. We're down a few Canadians on IR that aren't expected back. I think it's down to Novak coming on from the PR and he's just an ST player.

Noncontact injuries are the worst (Smith)
Plan for the worst. Hope for the best.

I am guessing Jefferson was a "tired" injury....

Late in the game, he stretched back to try to knock down a VA3 pass and went down.

Right my buddy caught that live, change in direction.  Memory is good for 3 mins.

Ya Willie injury looked like nothing more than a way to get the beef set in for the rest of the game. Cgy was in tempo and they were gonna run it against our lightweight passing set.

As it turns out the next 3 plays were ground game and the beef set was the right choice. Willie wasn't needed at all.

A bit shady, but every team does it. Remember that year that ssk faked injuries like 4 times every game and they were laughing about it when walking off?

The better question is why did mos waste his final timeout earlier when it was clear Cgy was going to get a td. I would never give up my final timeout, and thus my challenge, like that. I don't care that the d was confused, they had as much chance at a stop as the proper d had...
Never go full Johnston!

I thought he had to. One too many lineman stayed on and a db tried to run off. Calgary noticed. It would have been an easy td.

I guess he was suggesting a SSK dline "injury" timeout instead..

Those kind of coaching errors have happened way too often this season, taking time outs because there are too many players on the field should not be happening this late in the season.

I believe this was a groin injury, on the tv replays he was indicating that.
