BC would have to lose all their remaining games, including against the Bombers, to finish 10-8 for that to happen, and Wpg will have to beat both Edmonton and BC to tie that record of 10-8. Saskatchewan might have to win two games, too, to also finish at 10-8, with at least one of them against BC.

If all three teams are 10-8, then Saskatchewan has the edge on BC, Wpg has the edge on Sask, and BC may or may not have the edge on Wpg depending on the margin of victory if Wpg beats BC in the remaining game between them.

Quote from: Blue In BC on Today at 02:04:33 AMWe won. Some new things that worked and some new things that didn't. Some old problems that haven't been fixed. Why can't we stop last drives by the opponent?

Good chance this gets us the crossover game. We are capable of beating the Argos with just a few tweaks.

The injury to Smith didn't look good but I'm not sure what it was. He was nursing a hip problem before but this was a non contact issue. Fingers are crossed. Defence played better when he was playing.

That said, we only had the ball for 9 minutes in the 1st half.

I gotta say, I think this is the best we did with late drives. I don't believe they scored before the half and we let them bleed the clock one first down at a time late in the game when they needed 2 scores.

Plan worked perfectly tonight.

A solid win although both the offense and the defense could have played a little better in the second half.

The Bombers still have less than a 50% chance to make the playoffs imo.  Edmonton has yet to clinch so they will be playing all their starters next week at home against Winnipeg which will likely be a victory for them.  They are simply a better team.

After Edmonton's likely win they will have clinched first in the division.  BC's game later in the schedule against Calgary will only mean something if Saskatchewan manages to beat Montreal in back-to-back games - a tough task even with Montreal likely resting some starters in both games (or starters only playing part of the games).  The following week, Winnipeg will likely face a BC team that will have clinched second.  However, this may not prevent BC from playing all or most of their starters for part of the game.  Even if Rourke doesn't play at all, the Bombers played poorly against an awful BC 3rd string quarterback months ago and we have seen how poorly the defense has performed this year.

We will see what happens.  Probably have to hope the BC game next week against Calgary means something for them in the standings.

I I no.so sure edmonton is a lock to win the game vs us, they have hardly lit the world on fire lately. Yes they play at home and best they 'll be tough but I wouldn't say they were a lock to win, we play like tonight and we win

D has been on the field far to much these last two games. 136 plays in two games is crazy.
Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

Yes, but tonight was different than last week. We had seconds of possession time in the first quarter because we had a 2 play scoring drive.

The difference between brown and Collaros is massive, boy vs man, second rate backup vs first rate leader

No, BC has the series on sask. BC, WPG, and CGY all have the series on Sask.
