He's noted as a one speed possession type receiver but a good blocker.

Probably just a look see and doesn't mean much, but Clercius role was largely diminished last game, the Singer fans got their wish.

I prefer to judge the players on how they look at practice rather than writing them off as they arrive

Could be but he's not really that big. We have 3 receivers at slightly above 210 lbs. Daniels is a TE and he's 272 lbs and has been used as a receiver a few times.
