Winnipeg Blue Bombers sign five players to the practice squad

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed wide receiver Jerand Bradley, offensive linemen Jeremiah Crawford and Tunde Fatukasi, and defensive backs Damion Harvey Jr. and Tamon Lynum to the practice squad on Saturday, according to the CFL Transactions page.

Jerand Bradley is six foot four and weighs 240 pounds. The 23-year-old from Dallas, Texas, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent on May 8, 2026. In 2026, he made two catches for 34 yards and one touchdown in three preseason games. The Chargers released him on August 30, 2026.

Collegiately, Bradley spent three seasons at Texas Tech University (2021-23) with 92 catches for 1,274 yards and 10 touchdowns in 28 games for the Red Raiders. He was named an All-Big XII Honorable Mention and Second Team Freshman All-American by The Athletic in 2022.

Next, he transferred to Boston College in 2024 with six catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns in nine games for the Eagles. Then, he transferred to Kansas State in 2025 with 13 catches for 184 yards and two touchdowns in nine games for the Wildcats.

Jeremiah Crawford is six foot six and weighs 330 pounds. The 27-year-old from Goddard, Kansas, signed with the Orlando Pirates of the Indoor Football League on February 21, 2026. In 2026, he played six games with three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist). Orlando averaged 50.6 points per game, 262.5 yards per game, 191.1 passing yards per game, 71.4 rushing yards per game, and 115 touchdowns.

Collegiately, Crawford spent two seasons at Butler Community College (2019-20), playing both offense and defense for the Grizzlies. He started 16 games in two seasons and made two tackles (2 solos) and one forced fumble. Then, he transferred to the University of Tennessee (2021-23), playing 1,345 snaps at left tackle and right tackle in 30 games, of which 13 were starts for the Volunteers. In 2022, he started 10 games, seeing 424 snaps, and not allowing a sack in nine of ten games. He was part of an offensive line that was a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award for the first time in school history.

Tunde Fatukasi is six foot five and weighs 310 pounds. The 24-year-old from Far Rockaway, New York, attended the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs rookie minicamps in 2026.

Collegiately, Fatukasi spent two seasons at Rutgers (2020-21), but did not see any action for the Scarlet Knights. Then, he transferred to Bowling Green State University (2022-25), playing 2,249 snaps at left tackle, left guard, right tackle, and center in 51 games, of which 36 were starts for the Falcons. He was named an All-MAC Honorable Mention by the College Football Network in 2024.

Damion Harvey Jr. is five foot ten and weighs 189 pounds. The 23-year-old from Los Angeles, California, spent two seasons at Virginia Tech (2021-22) with eight tackles (4 solos, 4 assists), one tackle for loss, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 14 games for the Hokies.

Next, he transferred to San Jose State University (2023-24) with 86 tackles (62 solos, 24 assists), 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, four interceptions for 22 yards, one touchdown, 11 pass breakups, one fumble recovery, and one touchdown in 23 games for the Spartans.

In 2024, he was named Second Team All-Mountain West with 58 tackles (40 solos, 18 assists), seven tackles for loss, two sacks, four interceptions, one touchdown, six pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 12 games.

Then, he transferred to USC in 2025 with seven tackles (5 solos, 2 assists) and two pass breakups in eight games for the Trojans.

Tamon Lynum is six foot two and weighs 185 pounds. The 24-year-old from Orlando, Florida, signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent on May 18, 2026. In 2026, he made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in two preseason games. The Steelers released him on August 29, 2026.

Collegiately, Lynum spent four seasons at Nebraska (2020-23) with 14 tackles (11 solos, 3 assists), one tackle for loss, one sack, and two forced fumbles in 23 games for the Cornhuskers. Then, he transferred to the University of Pittsburgh (2024-25) with 57 tackles (34 solos, 23 assists), two tackles for loss, one sack, and two interceptions in 23 games for the Panthers.

Blue Bombers add five to practice roster

 WINNIPEG, MB., September 27, 2026 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed offensive linemen Tunde Fatukasi and Jeremiah Crawford, defensive backs DJ Harvey Jr. and Tamon Lynum, and wide receiver Jerand Bradley to the practice roster. All players are American.

Fatukasi (6-5, 310, Bowling Green; born: May 7, 2002, in Far Rockaway, NY.) signs with the Bombers after a six-year collegiate career with Rutgers (2020-2021), and Bowling Green (2022-2025).

Fatukasi began his college career at Rutgers but did not appear in any games before transferring to Bowling Green.

Over four seasons with Bowling Green, he appeared in 44 games and made 33 starts, playing primarily at left tackle and guard.

He made four starts in 2022, seven starts in 2023, and started all 13 games in 2024. In 2024, he played 706 offensive snaps and allowed one sack over 408 pass-blocking snaps. He finished his Bowling Green career by starting all 12 games in 2025, including 11 at left tackle and one at center, while playing 761 offensive snaps.

Fatukasi earned Academic All-MAC recognition in 2024 and entered 2025 as a preseason All-MAC selection by Phil Steele. He would later attend Bowling Green's Pro Day in 2026 but was unselected in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Crawford (6-5, 315, Tennessee; born: September 4, 1999, in Goddard, KS.) joins the Bombers after spending time with the Carolina Panthers (2024), and a three-year collegiate career at Tennessee (2021-2023).

Crawford signed with Carolina as an undrafted free agent in May 2024 and participated in the Panthers' rookie minicamp before joining the team for training camp later that year. He appeared in all three preseason games before being waived during final roster cuts.

Crawford spent three seasons at Tennessee, appearing in 30 games with 13 starts. He started nine games at left tackle and four at right tackle. His most productive season came in 2023, when he played in 10 games, made seven starts and logged 393 offensive snaps. The previous season, he started six of 10 games and played 424 offensive snaps. Crawford began his Tennessee career in 2021 and appeared in 10 games.

Before joining the Volunteers, Crawford spent two seasons at Butler Community College in Kansas.

Harvey Jr. (5-10, 189, Southern California; Born: February 17, 2003, in Palmdale, CA.) signs with the Bombers after time in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons (2026), and a five-year collegiate career with Virginia Tech (2021-2022), San Jose State (2023-2024), and USC (2025).

Harvey Jr. participated in USC's 2026 Pro Day prior to the NFL Draft. He later signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent and participated in the club's rookie minicamp.

Harvey Jr. began his college career at Virginia Tech, appearing in 14 games over two seasons. He recorded eight total tackles, including one tackle for loss, along with one pass breakup and one forced fumble. He also contributed on special teams, returning nine punts for 14 yards.

With San Jose State, Harvey Jr. recorded 86 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, four interceptions, and 11 pass breakups over two seasons. His most productive season came in 2024, when he started all 12 games and recorded 58 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks, four interceptions - one for a touchdown - and six pass breakups.

Harvey Jr. finished his collegiate career at USC, appearing in eight games and recorded seven tackles and two pass breakups.

Lynum (6-2, 185, Pittsburgh; born April 23, 2002, in Orlando, FL) joins the Bombers after spending time in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2026 and completing a six-year collegiate career with Nebraska (2020-2023) and Pittsburgh (2024-2025).

Lynum participated in Pittsburgh's Pro Day prior to the 2026 NFL Draft before signing with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent. He took part in the club's rookie minicamp and appeared in all three preseason games, recording one tackle, before being waived at final roster cuts.

Lynum began his collegiate career at Nebraska, appearing in 23 games over four seasons. He recorded 14 total tackles, including one tackle for loss and one sack, along with two forced fumbles and two pass breakups. His most productive season came in 2023, when he appeared in all 12 games and made one start, finishing with 12 tackles, one sack and two forced fumbles. He also earned Academic All-Big Ten honours following the season.

At Pittsburgh, Lynum appeared in 23 games over two seasons, compiling 57 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions and eight pass breakups. He recorded 36 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one interception and seven pass breakups across 13 games in 2024. In his final season, Lynum started nine of 10 games and added 21 tackles, one interception and one pass breakup.

Bradley (6-5, 241, Kansas State; born: October 10, 2002, in Dallas, TX.) joins the Bombers after attending training camp with the Los Angeles Chargers (2026), and a five-year collegiate career with Texas Tech (2021-2023), Boston College (2024), and Kansas State (2025).

Bradley signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in April 2026. During the preseason, he appeared in all three games and recorded two receptions for 34 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown reception against the San Francisco 49ers and a 6-yard reception against the Los Angeles Rams. He was released during final roster cuts before the start of the regular season.

Bradley began his collegiate career at Texas Tech, where he spent three seasons from 2021 through 2023. Over 28 games, he recorded 92 receptions for 1,274 yards and 10 touchdowns. His most productive season came in 2022, when he posted 51 catches for 744 yards and six touchdowns across 12 games. He followed that with 36 receptions for 431 yards and four touchdowns in 2023.

Bradley played in nine games at Boston College, finishing the season with six receptions for 94 yards and two touchdowns.

His final college season came at Kansas State, where he appeared in nine games and recorded 13 receptions for 184 yards and two touchdowns while averaging 14.2 yards per reception.

Every year at this time they bring in a couple of OLine to give them a shot, hoping to catch lightning in a bottle.  With OT's lasting a decade or more, you only have to hit once or twice a decade to make it work.

Its always the DB's and WR that are the exciting ones.  Guys that can learn either side of the waggle immediately are always invited back to camp to compete.  And while we may be losing some players to aging out, we might also lose Williams/Singer to the NFL window.

Interesting article on 3rd Down about players that might be traded by either Ottawa or Hamilton. I was thinking about Howsare yesterday as a matter of fact. If Ceresna is injured he'd be an interesting acquisition at a low price.

I didn't consider Hardy but he'd make a great short term rental if Ottawa wants to move on due to his age.

Morgan or McManis as possible trade bait I'm not so sure about that. It depends on their contract status and where they intend to plan their Canadian ratio.
