HOWEVER, if Dru isn't winning, let's look at why. Oline? Playcalling?  Why not try Perkins? I actually like him (More than Elgersma..sorry).  Maybe give him a few plays and try him out.  Can't hurt...we already lose games we should win.

Quarterback didn't lose the game he was running for his life.Brown is a good quarterback.  Got beat by broken plays where Kelly beat us outside. Can't give him 8 seconds to throw the ball. Someone will get open  . Got outcoached but good game . Up 21-7 Castillo blew the game if he kicks the field goals we win.  Got beat by a bad kicker hallarullah who couldn't much anything a few weeks ago

It's not realistic to expect Castillo or any CFL kicker to make 55 yard field goals more than 50% of the time.  45 yard one sure, but not so much the other.

lol at Brown being a good QB.  He is a bottom-of-the-barrel starter.  Good quarterbacks don't pass for 30 yards, give up nearly that much in sacks and throw 2 interceptions in one half no matter how bad the team is in front of them.

it's not realistic to expect a kicker to kick 55 yard field goals.  But the coach puts him out there.. you know if he misses a field goal Toronto has a good kick returner. So.  You try a 55 yarder. You miss. The ball doesn't just get run back 40 yards it comes back for a td.  That's not Brown's fault. Thats 7 points on Castillo and O'Shea.  Should have punted since it wasn't realistic to make a 55 yard field goal like you say

After our team had horrific starts, we adjusted and changed into a team with fast starts. But now we're a team that can't win because we will blow the 2nd half to good teams. I don't even think the other teams worry anymore when down 2 scores.

They all adjust at half time and we don't counter adjust. They shut down our O and wear out our D.

And for some reason we don't play aggressive at all when tied or up. And we have no playmaker on O to lean on and bail us out. Not like the other teams do.

Seemed to be communication breakdowns on both occasions, physically the secondary competed well against some very good receivers.

IDK what Condell was thinking on that last offensive series. For that matter Demski, Cobb and Clercius only had 5 receptions for nominal yardage.  I saw Womack on a return play but I don't think he played any offence.

Daniels was invisible and the OL gave up 4 or 5 sacks?

Nield has been abandoned, he received zero targets tonight and spent a whole lot of time on the sidelines sharing reps with Cobb and Daniels. Saw him on the edge blocking a few times but it appears they've given his job as #4 receiver to Clercius which helps in a blocking role but does nothing to improve the passing game. It's hard to sustain a passing attack through 4 quarters when only 2 out of 5 cylinders are firing.

We had the lead and the ball in the last couple of minutes and couldn't get a 1st down. It's a pattern we often see before we lose a close game. Our play calling in those situations is predictable and we get stuffed.

Obviously we got fooled on the ensuing punt but IDK it would have changed anything. Teams make the plays they need to and find a way to win. We find the way to lose.

This is what dru does. Look at the tor d with zero respect for dru jumping every route and laughing. He's treated like a backup, because that's what he is. Only rookies botch it up like dru did on that part last drive. Frankly it's pathetic.

Zach needs to come back and play thru anything. Gotta stop worrying about the noggin. A few more hits will not make a difference.

And now by losing to tor mtl will have to play full bore in a couple of weeks and we'll be in tough.

If we lost ceresna I think it may be a lost season.

We said that because we don't think Collaros should play again due to his health issues.

Brown has shown to be nothing more than a # 2 QB with some experience. Can he improve? I don't think so.

Man, Brown loves throwing into double coverage and forcing things that aren't there. You can see the experience difference between the two QBs.

Zach would have taken the sack or thrown the ball away at the point in his career because he learned that one.

That has been browns downfall throughout his career——throwing risky passes and turning the ball over. He ll never change, ever. I honestly think Perkins could do better, and is at least worth some reps when we re in the Montreal gMe herring smoked, put him in and see what he can do vs gulp Elgersma who we know can't do anything. Perkins has clearly shown they ll have to respect the run which is more than you can say for any of our other Qb.s
