Maybe Zach himself is unrealistic about the situation.

MOS too. He lets his vets decide a lot.  As soon as Zach can practice I am sure he plays again. So really the medical people will be the ones this hangs on.

Really hoping to see Dixon play. Very strong, good athlete at his weight and I think a mean streak. He is capable of causing some havoc.

I expected him to be added this week as a back up to Reese and used in rotation. He's missed 12 games so he may not be up to game speed and conditioning. However that happens on the AR not sitting on IR or PR.

Seeing where they put him on the roster may explain where he stands on the depth chart including those on the PR already.

Not all that surprising, Dixon is being told to wait his turn in the sake of fairness every rookie gets their opportunity at some point. They don't usually pull players out of the lineup unless they're ineffective or screwing up too often. 

Don't know if he took many reps but didn't notice Jaworski at all last game, he may be on the timer to perform or return to the PR beside Jenkins who was given a fair number of games to show he was a playmaker but was relatively ineffective.

Tony Jones has become a very strong pass rushing asset, surpassing Ayers in that role and perhaps changing the responsibilities of others along the D-line to more contain and less QB pursuit. I think Tony should forfeit his MLB job to a meat and potatoes MLB and keep doing what he's doing best.

Would rank the current pecking order of D-line rookies.

I can change it to "contestants" but with only 1 game played late last season I'd still consider Jenkins and Jaworski virtual rookies.

But Tony only works well on the DL precisely because he's not on the DL. You're not suggesting he dress as a DE??

As for the short bus, gatkouth is better than one might think. For the little he's out there he's made a few impact pressures. But I'm starting to get the impression he's more into the rush than contain or run stop.
