Ok folks we have 5 games left. What does everyone think the results will be?

Toronto - Winnipeg (I go with a Win)
Calgary - Winnipeg ( I go with a Win)
Winnipeg - BC (maybe a loss)
Winnipeg at Als ( The Als have 1st in the East locked up so maybe a win for the Blue)
Winnipeg at Edmonton (Edmonton probably has first locked up hard, to say but I go with a Bomber Win)

So maybe 3 or 4 wins out of 5? What do others think?

Interesting question but there are so many variables with the Bombers regarding injury situations. How many games will Collaros and O. Wilson be able to play?

I think we can win the 1st 2 games with Brown at QB but I'm not sure what happens with the other games. The Als and Elks may or may not rest too many starters for their final game even though that is the norm.

The Elks have missed the play offs for several seasons, so they will want to fine tune and keep momentum going.

The Als had a good 2025 season but ultimately came up short. They've suffered some surprising losses recently and are " ticked " to say the least.

Guessing at winning 3 out 5 is reasonable all things considered. That would match the 2025 record. Winning less than 3 games could mean finishing out of the play offs.

One game at a time

The game against Calgary is the key game. If the Bombers win that one they should make the playoffs.

I will go with 3 wins. But, I also think injuries could play a role in that.
Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

3 wins is the safe bet I think as well.
Season ticket holder since year 1 of the Reinbold era.

The Stamps always play tough against the Bombers but if they can't beat Calgary that says a lot.

As long as Alexander is playing I can't see the Als rolling over, especially after the Bomber win a few weeks ago, they will want to reap revenge even if the game means nothing to them.  If Maas is smart he'll leave Alexander on the sidelines to save him from doing something stupid.

Expecting 2 wins, hoping for 3.
Plan for the worst. Hope for the best.

I'll say 3 but the real answer is I have no idea. The race is so tight and we are so inconsistent that it will all depend on which team shows up on both sides of the ball. Of those 3 wins I hope for, I can't even say which ones they'd be against. I could absolutely see us losing to the lesser teams and beating the better teams because apparently that's how we roll.

We have 2 home games left, so we will hopefully win those ones (not that we have been in any way dependable at home this year) and then steal one on the road.

I'm not pessimistic, I just can't get a read on us and several other teams yet even now that we're in the third trimester of the year. Hopefully we can build off the last three weeks though and not regress. The recent version of the Bombers (especially the defense) has been the best it's been all year and we need to maintain some type of consistency. If we are having to throw Dru out there, I'm hoping we can simplify the offense and feed Brady a whole lot, especially as it cools off.

If you do the same with every other team, it seems most likely that the west will end up being:

EDM
BC
SSK

Winnipeg gets the cross over.

The BC vs SSK game next friday will be worth watching. Winner of that will likely end up with the semi-final home game.

I have us:

Toronto - W
ALS. It's in Montreal and will be a revenge game for them - L
Calgary - W
Edmonton/BC - Win 1, lose 1

So we finish 10-8, same as last year.

BC schedule:

SSK in BC
Argos
Redblacks
Stampeders
Bombers

SK & BC finish 11-7. BC has tie breaker if they win next friday.

I hope we give a good shot at going on a strong run at the end, winning all of them. Or maybe one mulligan. That's really the only way we have a good playoff run... Have all the momentum.

Ya, it's probably a pipe dream. But with the recent wins against top teams, there is hope we are far better than our record.

I think mtl rests everyone once they win the east. Did you see how beat up I they got vs bc, when it was a meaningless game? They didn't need those 2 points, and they lost anyhow. And Alexander always needs the hammie rest.

Edm is the wildcard. No idea what they will do.
Never go full Johnston!

Our win/lose record will greatly depend on whether Zach is playing or not, if he's out, we're out, if he's playing, we'll win 3 games and hopefully get in the playoffs.

Winnipeg has Impressed, considering the injuries at the start of the year.  So good job coaches.  We still need better personnel. But again kudos to the coaches who have the guys playing like winners. Other teams are now getting injuries, and are losing. So it all boils down to who is hot at the end.

We have lost a couple of late games we could have won.
If we are playing smart ball, and therefore eliminate those dumb penalties, maybe we become a contender. Serious consideration should be given in a search or trade for a back up QB.  As Zac and Brown should either get beat up, have no recognized back up.we need another  receiver.
