All 3 of our top Canadians are back to full practice and as mentioned previously I expect Kramdi back at safety this week.  They might have a 2nd day of limited but that's just maintenance IMO.

Nothing was mentioned about Ceresna.

Ceresna got up and walked off the field so hopefully not a major injury.

Hmmmm. Woodbey is listed with a hamstring injury. That's better than the achilles some suggested so he might be able to return again in 2026.

I had said ACL. But hammie also explains where he was gripping when he went down for the half second he was on camera.

A non contact hammie... Maybe got aggravated on an earlier play and the extensive running triggered a big problem.

As we saw with Alexander, these can be a long term issue. I wonder how the team will handle it. It's not like he's as important as Alexander, so I would err on the side of caution.

Hopefully it's something he can fully heal and not worry about anymore, unlike Alexander and his quote that he'll have to live with it forever.

Maybe mafia pretended Kramdi was hurt just so we'd all finally appreciate him after seeing the alternative! Everyone who was saying Kramdi is a crap FS is now dying for his return!

Woodbey has good short-area quickness and play strength, but he lacks the instincts and burst to make plays that stand out. His speed testing was disappointing, but it appears to match what is on tape at times. He needs to prove he can play fast and will need to star on special teams to have a shot.

Minimal production in impact categories.
Lacks functional speed to play chase-and-hit football.
Blockers are able to sustain and keep him out of plays.
Doesn't have athleticism or twitch to create a margin for error.
Will have trouble tracking deep routes down the field.

Unfortunately this is what we're now seeing play out in the CFL after playing in 2025 and 2026.

I'm not sure. I googled his draft profile and several bits of information come up with similar comments on most players.

I just took a look at Hazen as a comparison. He ranked something like 224th of 3500 LB candidates. He ranked very high in " speed " attributes and overall athleticism.

From an NFL point of view a little shorter / smaller than their norm but sounds like a good CFL fit.

Despite being slightly undersized by prototypical NFL standards, the former Wake Forest University linebacker offset size concerns with a massive 9.36 overall RAS score, propelled heavily by his elite short-area quickness and change-of-direction speeds

He may be part of the plan for 2027. Typically many rookies don't many reps on defence in year 1 and spend time on ST's.

Thanks, I think Hazen is receiving more attention than he deserves, on a team with 11 other LB's he's somewhere near the bottom of the totem pole in terms of getting an opportunity to start. He'll have to make his name on ST or he won't survive past 2027 TC. 

Of the 12 LB's, 6 are Natls of which maybe two will emerge as potential starters, the remainder will likely follow in the footsteps of Cadwallader and top out as ST demons.

I have been curious WHY Hazen had been on the roster. Filling our DI spots with players that don't seem to get reps on defence or have much impact on ST's.

Of course that's a lot to expect from rookies but it's the nature of limited roster spots and the ratio. We've noted how it impacts other choices ( Singer ) for example.

It's not to say Hazen might not be a good player with good upside. It just seemed like an odd choice. The NFL profile makes it a bit more palatable. OTOH, we have Ayers for that role per se.
