Just awesome, some on here gave Jake no respect but sounds like Willie does and that means a lot coming from one of best to ever do it.

Would be great news if Nichols can play and is 100%.  While he hasn't been very good, it gives us a lot of flexibility going forward as changes or injuries arise.

I hope the reason for Nichols subpar play this season is because of a nagging injury and not that he has lost a step.I have always had a sort spot for Nichols because his play in the dying minutes of regulation time against Hamilton in the Grey Cup saved our season.

I feel like it's Labor day, not a normal football game. I would reserve my judgement until both home and home have been played.

So, the mtl game was a test to see if mafia thought about our season killer from last year. The next 2 games will see if mafia thought about the Champs and main roadblock out of the west.

It's certainly going to be a test of who we are. Can we play 60 minutes on both sides of the ball? I think we can but I'm not sure we will.

The key, as always, is getting to Harris often and early.  His release is quick and he is elusive. 

But he is old, and if he gets hit early and often, I can see him making some mistakes rushing the ball out, and our DL, LB's and BD's all dine out on that.

SSK is banged up pretty bad, AJO is still on the 6 game, and the receiver group is compromised.  Conley had a good first game, but has been quiet since, he's no Horvath. 

The squeaked past the Argos at home last week, maybe we catch a break and get the W.

That's going to require our DBs to come up and play way more aggressively than they usually do. The only way to get pressure on Harris is to make him hold it. The only way he holds it is if you defend the short passing game which is something JY has really always struggled with.

I'm not sure what we'll see for Nichols or Moxey regarding ability to play. It's almost moot.

From my point of view I will continue to suggest we have better options than Hazen on the AR. It's almost written in stone that we aren't adding an import on offence.

To that end, I'd be inclined to suggest one of the DL be added to keep the rushers fresh. I'd like to see Jaworski be the next guy up.

Whatever our roster in the secondary looks like, IMO this is all about getting to Harris and forcing mistakes.

The Bombers are poised to win this game, they've been playing well recently while the Riders have been struggling with their top receivers out. Seems simple, if they play well on Sunday the Bombers win. 

The caveat as always is Zach's health, can he make it through this game or does he get knocked out before half? The O-line did a decent job of protecting him against the Als, but there were still at least 4 occasions Zach got thrown to the ground or trampled violently after he released the ball, which makes him very groggy/grumpy. In these scenarios he never bounces back quickly, there's always a good chance he's down for the count and done for the day.

A bet on the Bombers is for Zach to survive the entire game or for Dru Brown to be able to carry on to victory if he goes down.

Cobb has been usurped, backing up Demski and Vaval was his raisin d'etre. If Singer plays it's likely in place of Demski, not Cobb, Clercius, or Daniels in that 12th spot which is functioning as a very useful Swiss army knife.

Harris is key, get to him and we have a chance.  Rattle him, he is good but not elite.  2nd key is OL, 3rd is Brady has got to cook.  So much for the peanut gallery saying to sit him LOL.  That went a little quiet.  You dress the best in the biz. 

This one will be hard to win, records or what you did before don't matter Sunday it's like a different world this matchup

Daily IR report says Clarke is out so Bouliane probably the next man up.

Kramdi still out.

Moxey listed as doubtful so that throws out a bunch of possibilities to adjust if he doesn't play.

Haven listed as " doubtful ". That brings into play that alternate choice on defence.

Oliveria and Demski listed as " questionable ".  There seems to be some speculation that Demski won't play he's a tough cookie when the game comes around.
