Quote from: blue_gold_84 on Today at 02:41:09 PMSilver linings mean very little when they're overshadowed by the fact both games ended up in the loss column.

And yet, if our o had done something, anything useful in the 2nd half we likely win. Like, you know, get more than 1 first down?

Just like all the cups we lost, when the chips are down we can't sustain a drive.

None of which is on younger.

Feel free to play the what if game to your heart's content.

Younger's the DC. He wears this unit's failure's as much as the players do.

Quote from: Waffler on Today at 02:43:52 PMBut they break on game winning drives. I lost count of how many the past couple years.

Asking the d to stop a team simply getting in fg range is a tall order.

Yes, we totally suck when the opponent goes full dink and dunk. And we continue to suck so bad maybe it's on purpose. I wonder if the plan all along was to force max d&d while having an o that was just good enough to match scoring. In theory that could win you games.

The o has not been keeping up their end of the bargain.

Bc found ways to disrupt the ssk max d&d yesterday. It will be interesting to see if we try to steal any ideas, or just let ssk do their thing. That will be the tell of the season.

Truly not happy with DC or OC. Condell coaches like he has the 28 year old Zach. The plan has to be max protect, 2 quick reads and the ball is out. Live to fight another day if necessary. QB health trumps anything in the regular season.

Except for Hall and Lapo has MOS ever hired good coordinators? He has had some truly bad ones. Hogan, Bellefeuille, Etcheverry off the top of my head.

Because bend but don't break is not made for 3 down football.

Take note of how many consecutive 2 and outs the offence posted in the 2nd half, if they can't stay on the field for any length of time the defence gets no rest.
