Any Oline help possible for airlift?

Giovanni Manu and Kevin Cline remain WFC property, any chance either shakes loose?

I love Bryant and everything he has given, and he has given everything, for the WFC. But I don't think there is a fan that would begrudge him stepping aside.

Is Broxton his heir apparent? The contract we gave him screams yes. But what is the extent of his injury?

Wallace is NOT the answer at OT, I am very surprised that Neufeld did not move to OT. He has the experience there, but is it a case of, like Stan, he's lost a step?

There is no doubt we need Oline help. Do we have the beef to make it work, and are missing coaching, or is it a problem with the beef?

Yes, I'm going to say it, Bob Wylie. Can "Set HUT" make a difference? Does he have a month of guest coaching left in his system? I know he likes the finer things in life, if the Bombers offered him some nice perks, can we get him in here to coach our Oline and coaches? He is the hog whisperer, would it hurt to try?

We'll see if Broxton practises today or is moved to 6 game IR. IMO it's 50/50 either way. Might be an ankle sprain or worse which means a problem for at least this week.

I've mentioned as I see it, we either look at signing D. Allen. That would suggest a longer more serious injury to Broxton.

Our only other current option is Poncius who I believe is an OT. Vibert is either a guard or centre so he's not a choice to start.

I suppose we may bring back Mazzccua and shuffle the OL again. However, I think that is not a good choice.

So. fingers crossed that Broxton survives to play another game.

As discussed on another thread the O-line appears to be poorly managed with no help in sight, depending on the extent of Broxton's injury they could be in a heap of trouble. If they can't afford to bring in Dejon Allen, bring Eric Lofton or someone else in real quick. Don't know if any team is sitting on an excess of O-linemen but a trade is always a possibility, Bombers always have an abundance of LB types.

With the number of Oline injuries of ;ate, no team is trading an Oline that has made their AR. If they are, that means there is someone on their PR that is better. So, we COULD pluck someone off another team's PR... are there any OT's languishing on a PR behind 2 solid OT's on an AR out there?

Should we go through some preseason film and see if there is a prospect worth plucking?

As per DT:

Micah Vanterpool was at RT and Hunter Poncius filling in at LT for Stanley Bryant.

Broxton and Bryant were at practice but didnt participate.

This is what I came to say. Any new faces we see along the OL are coming from the existing roster.

Whoever our Oline coach is, they need help or to be replaced. Bryant not practicing means something is up.

Bryant IMO would make a great coach. He's a natural leader and great communicator. Next step?

Re-watched the game, I don't think Stan is going to survive the season, he was getting beat every which way imaginable. Yoshi lost some weight in the season he rehabbed and came back stronger, I doubt Stan even trains in the off season, he's used to cruising along on easy street.

That's just ridiculous and disrespectful. The guy is going to be down as the greatest OL in team and league history. You think he doesn't train for that?

Obviously not enough to compete at his age, there's good reason older players retire. Willy puts in the hard work, his offseason training regime is brutal, but it's helped keep him healthy and effective throughout his career.

He's also not on the field for every play on offence. OL are on the field for every play with the possible exception of punts, K/O's or FG attempts.
