The CFL have two games scheduled in Ontario this weekend. One game in Hamilton and one in Ottawa and yesterday Toronto had the worst air quality in the world.I would have to think that unless the conditions improve both games could be in jeopardy of being postponed.

Hamilton is under an air quality warning and it "may improve" tomorrow morning. No such warning in Ottawa as of right now, so let's hope things are OK in those areas.

I'm sure the CFL is monitoring the situation, similar to the last few years. Air quality in Southern Ontario is expected to improve into the weekend: https://firesmoke.ca/forecasts/current/

It's a pretty devastating situation in NW Ontario, though. I hope the rain we got here today moves eastward and can help.

Is this the bad place?

google says Hamilton will be air quality of 4 moderate risk so there is chance the game could be impacted, it appeared that it might be on an improving trend but this is AI so 50/50 they know anything

Ottawa should be ok as per AI lol

This site is pretty good but isn't always right but does show predictions

this site shows real time air quality data

doesn't look good in general for that part of the country! I was evacuated last year and it's not a fun process, couldn't see across the river at it's peak

Aw, nuts.

I hadn't even considered the possibility. We haven't had any game delays so far and I was living in blissful ignorance.
My wife is amazing!

Interior BC has seen medium smoke for almost 2 weeks, but forest fires are about to kick into high gear with recent heat and lightening storms and will likely be entrenched for the rest of the summer.  Might not effect Lions games if they close the roof but could spread to Calgary and even further East.
