Neither! I want to keep Brown. I was saying we are lucky to have gotten him at the price we did. There was some discussion about that last week including a poll. This seals it. He was a bargain.

We've likely seen BLM's last play in the CFL. That was brutal. We took advantage of the Hamilton lull to get back into the game with an easy TD. Hamilton then spun the wheel of backup QB's before each set of downs for some unknown reason, resulting in a pick to give us the ball back with a chance to win. Everyone on the field knew it was Brady Ball time, yet they couldn't stop it until we got the FG for the win. Last play was obvious RTP, but no one on Hammy's sideline cared enough to complain and it wouldn't have made any difference anyway.

A win is a win. We're ahead of BC instead of tied with them, but we're still one of the worst teams in the league.

Would Perkins be looking for an out now?  He's definately 4th in this room, his SY play might keep him on the AR, but whoever ends up on the RR when Collaros returns comes back in at 2 if Zach goes down again.

Is Perkins OK with 2 years at whatever his deal is to sneak a few plays a game and wait for 2 QB injuries to get meaningful minutes for a game?

OTOH, does he get a #2 spot anywhere in the league?

They aren't allowed to make plays unless it's a mid/deep shot.  The scheme literally means you cannot get the same INT on a short curl HAM got on Zach.

I was referring to the easy peasy INT you or I could have made in the end zone that Holm dropped. Bo basically lobbed it to him and he still couldn't squeeze it! Cost us 3 valuable points that fortunately turned out to be not enough for Hammy. 

The INT that was made on Zach's first pass of the game was a great catch by a DB that any receiver would have been proud to make. One's a playmaker, one isn't.

To be fair, the knock down of the BLM pass to a wide open receiver in the end zone was a great play. I'm just saying we could be making more plays than we are on D. 

I do understand your point though about the schemes we play in keeping the play in front of us at all times.

Well, we're better than HAM now!  As for OTT -- I wouldn't put money on that!!  If Dinwiddie can beat us with Arbuckle, he can probably beat us with Maier -- they're basically the same QB.

When Zack threw that pic to start the game, I wanted a change immediately...I know he's lost a step and now we have to wonder about his physical health....I think we could go with Elgersma and Brown with Perkins as the third stringer and  look at trade possibilities for Collaros....Judging by the play of Dolegala and Ford, I think it would be a good idea for Ham to be looking for a 'real' starter..Could Zack be the answer??

His role has never changed.

He came in with the intent to be Zach's replacement, compete with Wilson and Thorne... since then we have inserted Elgersma ahead of him, which was ok as he basically replaced Wilson, but now adding in Dru means 2 guys have been inserted above him since he's been here.

He has a contract, and if he wants to pursue the CFL, he needs to honour it, but still, has to be frustrating.  In the QB room that was when he signed, he'd be starting next week.

Zach retires a WBB, there is no doubt in my mind,  That is NOT a mafia thing, to trade a player of Zach's nature.

2 dropped INTs by the Bombers. Our D needs to make those plays.

Lawler and Smith, a couple of very good receivers that are way over the top. It was nice to shut them both up in the 4th. quarter.

I thought Willy had a much better game. 

Willy came on great as the game went.
