This is why they didn't, if he had to go in and they have to play with a shortened playbook because he doesn't know the calls yet.

it's a trade off. shortened playbook with someone who has started multiple games may be better than a raw rookie. wait till taylor tosses multiple picks cause he can't read a defence - hope he doesn't but trends show it's coming
