Decent game for the Jets last night. SKinner played well. The Jets are still playing with the lines. GV13 and Moe stood out for the Jets. It's pre-season and the Colorado had very few NHLers in the line up.

I really can't see the team that the Jets are putting out on the ice for the opening night any better then last year. Down grade in goaltending. Maybe a little better on D. Bottom 6 will pretty much be the same. And, they didn't do enough to improve the 2nd. line.

Now all of this could change, depending on what they get in the Helli trade.

Can't see the current team making the playoffs.

Today was at their practice which essentially was PP & PK action
Never once got an emotional rush from watching the talent.

Looks like KFC is again going to be used on the PK.
Love his offensive ability but still a head scratcher why Arniel wants to use a skater that won't block a shot or take the body
Our PK has to take a giant step forward but why it utilizes a pure scorer in hope that he gets a chance once every 20 games still puzzles me

They can't take on much in cap. Next season Celebrini $18M kicks in and Will Smith who has 104 points in 143 games is going to want to get paid. They also have Trouba and Nurse sucking up $18M. per. They could be in cap hell next season.
