Not sure Skinner is wroth 3x what Comrie is... I'd have preferred COmrie and the extra bucks...
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Feel it's a good signing in dman Ferraro but why oh why did Chevy bother with Noah Gregor

Comrie is a good backup and has been remunerated as such. Skinner is a seasoned netminder who is more of a 1B than a backup, and has also been remunerated as such. I'm not sure it's an apples and apples comparison and this could help with Hellebuyck's workload moving forward.

The Jets still have around $10.6M in cap space with only Perfetti and Bauer left to re-sign.

This signing seems to have flown under the radar. Looks like a decent addition to the blue line.

We don't need the extra bucks. We have tons of cap space and no one to take our money.
My wife is amazing!

I like the Ferraro signing. I don't like the Skinner signing. I don't think Skinner is a good goalie.

Went to the Prospect camp on Thursday
V. Bjorck was most definitely fun to watch. His movements on the ice are just so effortless.
Very high in the quick thought process and anticipation of co-skaters was good

Also fans gotta be excited for a real up and comer in Kieron Walton.  He was great vs any challenges out there

Definitely felt young Kevin He was also my 3rd choice for having a good day. Much like Bjorck, NHL calibre for sure

Barlow and Yager, who I like in both, struggled to rise above today

Thanks for the report Itchy. Down in Calgary for the Stampede. I really like Walton 6'6" 227, and he has some good mitts. 98 point last season.

Maybe Skinner can be a good backup for us. https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=172646 His regular season and playoff win-loss record is decent, except the latest playoffs with Pittsburg.

Would like to see us trade Pionk for a young centreman, such as Shane Wright from Seattle, even if we have to pay part of Pionk's salary.

I am not expecting much from the current Jets lineup. Could be a long year for Jets fans.
