The 6 game injury list is starting to get a little crowded.

Ball
Clercius
Novak
Santo-Knox
Schmekel
Vanterpool
Dixon
Allen

Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

Based on the last few seasons this seems pretty normal. But at least it's not the superstars this time. Knock wood

What happened to Dixon? I missed most of the game but saw him a couple of times in the game recap/highlights. He looked pretty decent from what I did see, so it's a bit of a shame he's been 6-gamed.

Is this the bad place?

Roster updated now show C. Allen on 6 game IR. Doesn't show Dixon there but the transactions show he was moved to 6 game IR.

Why can't they get all the info in sync?

You'd think it would be synchronized, change a players status on one list and it automatically updates on all lists.  Sounds simple.

I can't for the life of me figure out why they're never able to learn, but anything to do with technology and the CFL is never simple.
My wife is amazing!

Well, now that they've basically outsourced all IT to Genius, nothing will get done unless Genius deems it beneficial to the bottom line, or germane to the original CFL contract.

And this isn't just something they would do alone: every team would have to tie into an API so all rosters are synchronized (REST/SOAP, etc).  Very doable and wouldn't even take a heap of time, but since it's not bugging anyone except us plebes, not much will happen.

CFL.CA transactions show Reese added from PR and Vibert transferred to PR.

If Fletcher came on for Woodbey then who is Reese coming on for?? I can understand Vibert coming off if Eli is the 6th OL but again there should be a Canadian or a global being added or maybe Boulaine or Kornelson.

Very confusing. Clear as mud.

EDIT: I wonder if being added might mean added to reserve by tomorrow. Eibert was on the reserve last week. So Fletcher and / or Reese might not be necessarily dressing for the game and it becomes a GTD for one of them?

Ya, Vibert RR so this is a nothingburger except he loses out on the bigger paycheck??

Reese might be the guy next on RR.

We might be using RR simply as a way to pay guys more as a bonus.  Maybe someone is tracking who tries hardest in practice and this is their reward?  I really don't think the RR is being used by us as any sort of "game day reserve".  It's just a "you get more money PR" for us.

Darn. Woodbey to the 6 game IR but no word on whether this is season ending.  I like the idea of Reese on the roster but wondering how losing Woodbey impacts pass coverage.

Woodbey will impact a lot on D, a rising star.  His reps will be hard to replace.  But it will help develop some new faces.  Really too bad.

considering he was our best non-SAM coverage LB....that's gonna hurt

There are now 9 players on our 6 game IR. That's horrible for the players and for the team. We know it's difficult in every instance to be certain about timelines for recovery. However this is not very transparent.

I mentioned how quickly Dixon was moved to 6 game IR but why did it take until this morning to hear about Woodbey? Obviously some players may be able to return at some point this season. Some like JSK are finished for the season.

I suppose the good news is that we only have 1 player on the 1 game IR. That impacts the SMS less but we're a little thin as the 6 game IR increases.

Rewatched game #1, Smith injured at the start of the 2nd Q, that's when they switched to Kelly.  Haven't finished the game yet but did not see Shay get any rotation.

Woodbey was reportedly "walking unencumbered" at Monday's practice so the injury extent wasn't as obvious as Dixon's.  I'm guessing they needed further evaluation to make the determination.
