The way to early where we finish this year poll for fun

Entirely depends on the choices we make in training camp and to start the season. On paper we're a more talented team than last year but not the juggernaut we used to power our way to 15 win seasons.

Some open questions:

Are we committed to playing the players playing the best right now? Or not?

Are we committed to leveraging the roster rules to squeeze every little bit of juice from the roster? Or not?

If we're committed to some mindset changes on a few fronts we are a Grey Cup favourite assuming Collaros stays healthy.

If we aren't, and culture continues ro be emphasized above current production, then no, we'll have a similar experience to last year. The league is too competitive. Football is too competitive. The margin for error too narrow.

Most likely we get 2nd place... Riders 1st again... sigh..

SSK hasn't had to deal with GC personnel attrition in over a decade.  They are sure dealing with it now.  They also are used to getting really juicy DPs.  This time they will pick last.

We did great in FA, and we get some juicy DPs this time (first time in forever).  If we can snag a 1st year starter that will be the icing on the cake.

It's not just how good we are, it's how good the W competition will be too.  SSK will definitely be worse.  BC seems to be the perennial #2 or #3.  CGY is a bit of a wild card.  EDM will probably be EDM.  If the others don't improve, or get worse, we should be able to be on top again.
