Interesting article on TSN today.  Of particular interest are the projected depth charts.

An interesting take on a potential roster. I'll bookmark if for reference later to see how things develop.  There will be more rookies added before TC and we may see some movement during free agency.

I suppose it's as decent a guess as possible at the moment. lol

If anyone is on twitter, they should follow the author of this article Coty Wiles.

He must be a new employee this year, but he's been active all offseason giving analysis and contract information.

Thanks, he put lots of work into that analysis. well worth following him.

He seems to think the online is pretty good with the returning players.

This surprised me

"Canadian Gabe Wallace, 26, will look to build after a successful first season at left guard that saw him register the second best pressure rate allowed (2.7) among interior linemen"

Which shows what I know... not much cause I thought Wallace was not that good.

I wonder how stats determines who whiffed on a block, centre or guard. I thought (no stats) a lot of breakdowns came from that left side. I guess the team concluded it was more the centre since he's gone.

Which is good enough for me.

With the Tackle it's pretty easy to see even on tv when a defensive end just easily runs around the outside of the tackle.

Great read on a cold Winnipeg couple of months. Now if we can just get a couple d linemen.

Gabe Wallace may be the strongest player in the CFL, you'll never see him get run over or overpowered, that said he does need to improve his mobility and footwork, as he occasionally lets faster players slip by him inside or outside.  He's already married and living in Wpg. year round which is a good sign he likes his environment and isn't biding his time waiting to go home once his contract expires.  Walters needs to lock him up long-term and make him the foundation of the O-line, he can't let this one slip away over $$.

Many of the OLine we lost to $$$ did not have ties to this community, and "moved home".  I can see not spending $SMS on that.  But if Wallace is already here, we can spend top dollars less the home town discount, and keep him forever.  I'm all for that, I can't see any CFL player getting more than 3 years in this day and age with the cap being so flexible, but for as long as the CBA will be in force, sure...
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.
