Hodge is the worst.

He dropped those passes because he played in Hammytown. ;)
Season ticket holder since year 1 of the Reinbold era.

I'd still be interested in bringing Sterns back. He'd have to understand that barring injury he may end up on the PR for most of the season. That's tough for a player to accept but I don't think he'll get much more opportunity than that elsewhere.

Essentially we have no holdovers as depth from last season. What the team expectations are for some of the rookies comes into play. We look at many during TC and pre season and last year we kept ZERO. Those that were kept were free agent acquisitions that didn't pan out.

At least we know what Sterns can do.

The only thing about sterns is we need a reciever with better blocking capabilites

I agree but White is about the same size as Sterns so we haven't improved in that area. White may be a better receiver but Sterns would be plug and play if there is an injury.

OTOH, we have a new OC that is familiar with White and not Sterns.

Sterns was good with the quick hitters as a reliable target picking up 5-10 yds, which should be a staple of the Bomber attack, but he didn't have much success downfield breaking open for bigger gains.  If White has any advantage it will be further downfield, he's not going to help with the blocking much, which is a key element all Rider receivers contribute.  Hopefully they find more muscle for the last receiver spot and Condell figures out how to make better use of Clercius.

Quote from: Jesse on January 30, 2026, 02:11:08 PMI think this is being overblown to a certain extent. The guy is peppered with targets every year (between 125-150 per season). Every receiver will drop a certain percentage of his plays and White, with well over 100 opportunities a year, will drop more than the next guy who was only targeted 75 times.

The biggest thing that he brings - that we have been missing - is he gets open. In so many ways, Timothy is the perfect fit for us.
Totally agree. All this whining about some dropped passes, everybody drops them, everybody. And you nailed it, the guy is a play maker who will mae something out of absolutely nothing and defenses will have to respect him which means Wilson and demski will benefit from that. And he's fast, him on the jet sweep is going to be deadly
