Maier reunites with Dinwiddie from his early years in Calgary, might be good.

They clearly aren't 100% confident Brown is their answer, whether due to durability, play, or both.

I think Dinwiddie gives Brown first dibs, but depending on injury and performance he could end up playing Maier quite a bit.  If Brown flunks out, better chance he heads back to Wpg. next season.

If Brown flunks out, why in the world would you want him to return?
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Because we saw him be successful here and Ottawa is where everyone goes to die.
My wife is amazing!

Houston to the Lions. Lofton to the TiCats.

I'm not quite sure why we didn't re-sign Houston, so we're going to see 2 new CB's this year. Maybe Bonds will be healthy but that's a real iffy thought at the moment.

Isn't Moxey a CB?

Yes but we released Parker earlier so still have a question mark for the other one. Some interesting candidates but starter is a TBD.

Sir Blue and Gold

Maybe Houston didn't really like the system. He's an aggressive corner and being told to stay high and cover triple moves all season can't have been his ideal scenario nor what he's particularly good at.

I guess it doesn't matter whether we choose or he choose. Ironically the Lions have Bridges as well.

However adding Ceresna should mean opposing QB's won't have as much time for receivers to run routes.

I'm not sure one way or the other whether Vaughters is testing free agency or whether we've decided to spend the SMS.
