I take this stat with a grain of salt. Timing and WHO got injured are huge factors.

Who: Montreal losing Alexander likely cost them first place even though they lost 2nd least games to injury.

I think they showed this stat last season too.  I didn't like it then either.  It should weight each player by salary, or stats level, or all-star status or whatever.  Losing 3 STer-only rookies and "throwaway" rookie backup IMPs doesn't mean as much as losing Schoen & Demski or your starting QB.  You can lose 10 of the former and it won't impact your game like losing 1 of the latter.

This is totally insane.  That should not happen.  I guess the moral of the story is hoggies shouldn't be returning kicks.  Not gonna help with getting kids involved with football...
