Pretty sure we've been doing that all season.  We still haven't found the magic mix, and the best RECs keep getting IR'd.  No luck, little continuity, no top-10 superstar without Schoen/Demski.

We'll just have to hope they finally figure it out in a few days... or we keep Alexander from scoring much.

Interesting: Stubhub has no tickets for the ESF -- the event isn't even listed.  I think this is because MTL is handling ticket sales themselves on their own platform.

I think there are some resales on their site, as some seats have different colors in the same section.  I'm not sure if they'll allow them to be sold less than face, though.

Good number of tickets still available.

Temp still looking not great 7C feels 4C 30% POP.  Might keep some STHs away.

No one else is going?  It's looking 80/20 for me now: wife approval CHECK, halloween taken care of CHECK.  Prozac for when we lose CHECK (kidding!).

Could be a pretty big sports day with Bombers at 1 pm, Jets at 2 pm, and a possible game 7 of the World Series at 7 pm.

All booked and heading to MTL with my son on Friday.  I guess I'm the only one as I haven't heard any more people chiming in.  Always fun in Montreal.  Look for us on TV... we'll be decked out in full gear and I'll try to be rowdy, if I don't get too cold!

Don't forget the WSF.  I know what I'll be watching when I get back to the hotel room!  World series is just gravy.

Davis Alexander (highlights at cfl.ca) looks like Collaros in his MVP years. If he has time he's accurate, short and long, if he's rushed he's a good scrambler.

If possible, we Need to keep him off the field with our own long drives.

Their defensive line... really good. If we have Zach dropping back, he will take another beating, and the rest that follows that.

Sorry to be negative but based on the way we've gone this season, and I think it's mainly on the coaches, we won't do what's needed on Offence.
Earlier this season, Bombers showed they can run on that defence.

Guess We'll see.

I think you nailed it. This is not a good team. But, maybe with some excellent D, a couple of breaks on teams, and no turnover by our O. We can pull out a win.

So, we need a Jumbo TE on the right with Zach rolling out that way with MCI leading..
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

A few tidbits

1. We did beat the Als twice this season. Yes it was not Alexander starting.
2. The Als are a passing team and our secondary has become very solid. MBT is no slouch as a passer and we toasted him.
3. Bomber's have an advantage in the run game on a colder rainy day.

We're capable of beating them on the road. It might come down to whether Demski plays. He's the glue on offence in the passing game.

One game at a time.

My brother did that last year. He really enjoyed himself.

I'd like to do 4 games in one weekend.

Every year there's always a couple of weeks that look doable but I havent pulled to pin yet.

Comes down to Zach, he needs to capitalize on whatever the Bomber defence presents to him, can't get behind and can't play with desperation, the win should be methodical. Would be a good game for Sergio to step up and have a 4-5 FG performance if the game becomes a defensive battle.

Will be curious to see how Hogan game plans for this one, in the past we've out thunk ourselves. thinking that the other team is gonna try to   shut down our run game so we need to focus on the passing game... we need to force Mtrl into actually shutting it down rather than doing it for them.
Zac also presnap has to look for Dequoy moving up to the line of scrimmage to blitz, that extra man has caused us difficulty hopefully we've gameplanned against this

More thoughts about Alexander:

1. In his career he's thrown 16 TD's and 6 int's.
2. In 2025 he's only played 7 games and 10 TD's.
3. In 2025 he threw for 3 TD's against the Elks and 2 against the Redblacks
4. In 2025 he's only thrown for 1 TD against the other 5 teams he faced.
5. He's yet to lose as a starter. That's a hard trend to continue.

He's capable of beating us but he's relatively inexperienced and only been a starter for about 17 games. Obviously the Als have significant talent on their roster on both sides of the ball.

Every QB benefits from the talent on their roster. Can the Bombers overcome that talent and take the game out of his hands per se.

IMO we can. Bombers by 7.
