I could only name half the ST Coords in the league right now, but pretty sure half are not that good at their jobs.  Dyce has enough CFL contacts to get another STC job after he enjoys his year off with pay, hey maybe the RB's boost Tim Campbell to HC and he offers the ST job to Dyce!

I'm going to spit-ball and just throw this out there. Mike Kelly as HC with Reinebold as DC.

Just as with Buck we'll see which candidates accept interviews, if Younger or O'Shea show interest in that job it's time to identify potential replacements.

I would be quite surprised if O'Shea left Wpg.

Outside of a couple of very small fan forums, he's a king.

I'd go all in and get Dinwiddie to turn the pathetic Ottawa offense around. They have 2 decent Qb's in Brown and Crum, some decent recievers, but their game plan is horrible. Dinwiddie would solve that. #2 choice would be Burris--need an offensive mind to turn things around there. No to Campbell and Steinhauer and MOS wouldn't go there without KW as his manager and if Burke stays, the talent pipeline doesn't improve and to me, that's more of the problem than coaching.

the problem there is Dinwiddie is under contract for another year, and would need a promotion to hc and gm which Ottawa already has. They could make a trade for him, perhaps offering Dru Brown and their first pick for Dinwiddie and Kelly

I would can Burke yesterday and give Dinwiddie the GM/HC job. Burke IS the problem in Ottawa. He's had what 10 years to stock the talent shelves, and they are far from loaded with talent. Bye bye Burke. But Ottawa won't do that, so bring in Burris and see if he can get their brutal offense on track. You have Lewis, Pimpleton, and Hardy in your recieving corps, heck I wish we had that type of talent in our receiving corps!!, yet their offense sputters and fails miserably.

They could offer an assistant GM role as well as HC role for Dinwiddie. I don't see that happening and don't think he wants to change teams. I don't even think you can trade a coach if he doesn't want to make that move.

As far as the addition for trading QB's, that doesn't make sense. Kelly makes a lot more than Brown and you suggest including a 1st round pick. Bad business IMO. The problems in Ottawa extend beyond QB.

Whatever they do will start whenever their top choice teams is eliminated.

One game at a time.

i think dinwiddies out of the picture. If he isn't getting both hats and a big pay raise, and they aren't going to give him the HC and GM job,  he ll just stay where he's at

With the Bisons dropping to 4-4, might Dyce "come home"?
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

I fully expect him to weigh his options in the off-season. He's a good ST coach in this league.

It's going to be a long off-season.

Is there a GM job? I could fully see Walters going back to college/university ball.  He didn't do much this year...and also we need new scouts. What did our scouts do this year? Not much.  We need new, good young bodies.
